Wu Pang (Chinese: 胡鵬) was a Hong Kong Chinese director, producer, production manager, actor, movie planner, writer and the co-creator of Yong Yao Film Company (1909 - 2000). He and producer Zhenjiang Yongyao start making films in 1938. At the age of 30, Wu Pang and start making films of folk hero Wong Fei Hung which starred 70 Wong Fei Hung movies actor and martial artist Kwan Tak-hing, also known as Kwan Te-hsing by film producer Raymond Chow Man Wai. Wu Pang has directed one hundred ninety-four movies. Wu Pang became the most directed movie director in the world.

Biography

Wu Pang was born in 1909 in Shanghai. When he was twenty-seven, he decided to move to Hong Kong. He was born in the same year with director Griffin Yueh Feng (born July 29, 1910 - July 3, 1999). In 2000, Wu Pang died at the age of 91 in the Hong Kong Health Centre. Wu Pang died peacefully in 2000 at the Hong Kong Health Centre, he was ninety-one years old.
