Zeroscape is a Canadian four piece Reggae/Metal band based in Toronto that formed in 2001 on the principle that any and all music genres could "Melt" together. The three genres that are most prominent in Zeroscape's songs are metal, reggae and rap but are not limited to those three. In their upcoming third studio album (yet to be named) there is a ska influence in the album as demonstrated during their 2009 UK Tour with InMe. Zeroscape's line up has changed slightly over the past eight years. Shortly after recording their second studio album ...And if this is the end I will. The current line up is:

On tour

From 2001 until 2003 Zeroscape Played in local spots in and around Toronto. In 2004 Zeroscape started their "Braille" Eastern Canada Tour in support of their first studio album Braille with over thirty shows in the year. In 2005 the members of Zeroscape sold all their belongings, and hit the road on a six-month 98 show Braille European tour that led them through nine countries followed by the 2006-2007 Till Death Do Us tour, and their 2008 Against All Odds tour. In 2009 Zeroscape joined English alternative rock band InMe on their Britain's Got F***ed two-month tour.

According To Swindonmusic.co.uk Zeroscape have played oOver 400 dates in over 17 countries and shared stages with bands like The Killers, The Hives, Sick Of It All, Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment, Walls of Jericho and played on the Ernie Ball stage during the Warped Tour 2009.[1]

Releases

Braille

On 11 September 2004 Zeroscape released their first studio album titled Braille which was an independent release. While on tour in the UK in 2005 the band ran out of copies of their album to sell at gigs and required the emergency copying from CD Duplicator in Liverpool.

On 1 June 2006, Zeroscape released their second studio album which was recorded when they returned from their 2005 Braille European Tour. The new album featured two songs from the Braille album that were re-recorded with increased production on the songs. The album was released on Bad Reputation records, a Paris-based label.[2] This is the first Zeroscape album available for purchase/download on the internet via sites like Play.com and available to be ordered in store at many leading music retailers including HMV and Virgin Megastores.

Friday Night EP

The Friday Night EP was released in 2009 on Boonsdale Records, a Toronto-based label. The EP has a cover of the Bob Marley song "Get Up, Stand Up", which balances reggae and metal, starting with reggae-style guitar/drums and vocals and switching to a metal style for the chorus. The three songs on the EP are believed to reappear on the next album, which is planned to begin recording at the end of 2009 and start of 2010.
