It is with great pride that the mayor of Hogcity, Gretel, presents the brand-new Hogcity poster, which has been completely modernized and is now a holographic display, to reflect the modern era.
But behind her enthusiastic politician's face, this new poster hides her true colors. Gretel considers the city's name a disgrace, that it seems like a joke compared to some cities with more beautiful or serious names.
As a pig, for her, it's an insulting name, but since her voters still seem to appreciate the name of this city, which represents her history, Gretel has no choice but to fulfill these voters' wishes if she wants to win their votes in the next election.
(Hogcity is so named because this city, before it was a fortress, was the majority of anthro pigs, during a medieval era when predators hunted any weak creature to make them slaves or food, on the same level as feral animals. Thus, this fortress protected them and allowed the anthro pig race to dominate the region, thus creating the city of Hogcity, in homage to this history. Although the population is now very diverse, the pig population still remains the majority in this city.)
(This is also an excuse to justify having several pig characters, being a pig lover. XP)
