Abandoned Colonia Montecatini, later Colonia Monopoli di Stato, by Eugenio Faludi (1938-1939).
Originally built as a summer camp, right in front of the sea, it was used as a military hospital during WWII already from 1940. In 1944 it was occupied by the German W3hrm4cht and then by the Canadian troops. The original stairs tower (55 mts, way higher than the current one) and part of the main structure were demolished in the years of the war and rebuilt later. Abandoned in 1998.
