Hello how did u edit and add subtitles to ur gifs
hi friend! thank you for coming to me with this question.
idk if you’re asking about the whole editing process or just adding subtitles, so before i go in depth about caption text, i wanna direct you towards my gif resources masterpost, where i compiled and organized a bunch of tutorials for different gif making processes. if your question isn’t answered here, its probably answered somewhere on there.

Hi! I'm suddenly lacking the right words to ask this, but I love how the subtitles(?) on your gifs look, could I ask what are the adjustment layers you use for them? Mine always look horrible 😞
Hi! I’d love to share my settings, they are nothing special tbh.
First and foremost, I use Arial Rounded MT Bold, size 17pt, on smooth.
This is what it should look like without the blending options.
These are my internal settings, if you’re wondering.

Once you’ve gotten these settings going, you’re going to add the blending options!
Add a stroke, at 1px, position should be changed to outside, and the blend mode should be normal. Opacity should be a 100% and the color should be #000, but some people go a little lighter like #222.
Now you’re going to add a Drop Shadow layer at these settings:
So the blend mode needs to be normal, the angle should be 30 or 90, and the distance is 2, spread is 3, and the size should be 6.
And honestly, that’s it. Your finished gif will look like this!
See? That’s it. I included a psd here for you to make your life easier!
2 in 1 (or more) gif tutorial
this is a quick and hopefully easy tutorial on how to make the below as i used in this set multiple times:
from separate, pre-existing gifs. this is the way to evade tumblr’s limit of 10 photos/gifs in a photoset.
this tutorial assumes you already have knowledge of how to make gifs using photoshop [i highly recommend this method myself]
