It's funny seeing people claim this is the worst era for X-Men comics or Spiderman comics or whatever and (insert era here) here was better and more successful and loved and the only people who like the current stuff are idiots who don't know any better because like I dunno, I've read a lot of old X-Men comics and absolutely nobody stopped sending bitchy letters in to the editor in the 80s. Like if these comics were coming out today I guarantee you'd still complain.
