SARAH MURRAY | Ceramic Artist on Instagram: "I love this process! It enables me to capture the feeling of textiles … in both print and texture. I love that I can only control it to a certain point and that there will be parts that I will have no say in… for me that’s when it becomes interesting.
Happy Saturday folks ✌️

Rebecca Gerendasy Clay • Art on Instagram: "This new design was inspired by some brilliant black-eyed Susans that I came upon during a visit to the beautiful town of Vancouver, BC. Here I am adding layers of underglaze colors to plain newsprint. When finished, it will be transferred to a slab of clay then made into an oblong platter - to be hung on the wall, placed on a flat surface, or actually used to hold something. To see the finished sketch of what “August Heat” will look like, wait until the end of the short video.
