I made these Coconut Buns with sourdough and used less sugar in the coconut filling. The texture is soft and fluffy and the filling is not too sweet. This is perfect for my family's taste.

BBQ Pork filling:
Garlic, sugar, onion, water, cornstarch, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce

Milk Bread Dough:
350g bread flour
45g sugar
8g yeast
5g bread improver
1 egg
2g salt
30g milk
Tangzhong (cooked 200g milk 20g flour until thick)
25g butter (while 5mins into kneading)

Crusty Crust:
Unsalted butter (room temp) 50g
Cake Flour or AP 100g
Salt 2g
White Sugar 85g
Milk powder 20g (optional)
1 Egg yolk
Vanilla extract 1 tsp (optional)
Baking powder ¼ tsp
