After close to a bajillion client logos completed I have come up with all sorts of weird and wonderful ways of trying to establish balance within a logo. . Now these rules are not mine to own and I for sure did not invent them… simple math and ratio usage have been used since day dot within art and design. . I find that this double trouble, or rule of two, is particularly useful when it comes to horizontal logos that have solid shapes involved. . 1. Take the height of your type direction and divide it by two. . 2. Then duplicate this into a grid that you can use both vertically and horizontally. . 3. Use this to dictate the size and spacing of your logo symbol. . Hope this helps team… stay awesome. . . . .
