I did NOT come up with the technique but one of you guys recommended it to me maybe 5-6 years ago and I’ve been doing it ever since lol ☺️ I also wanted to do a ‘real time’ look at my twist out routine… it’s a bit slower than I usually do each twist just so I could show the technique and there’s a few cuts here and there for video length purposes BUT it’s as close to real time as I could get! What makes this technique different from the one I’ve been doing in the beginning of my curly hair journey is the second scrunchie I wrap around my ends. I find it an easy way to strech my hair without heat, especially after the first day of washing where I deal with shrinkage. But I also find that it reduces knots/tangles which I was dealing with a lot before when I just did a pinapple style and threw a bonnet over it. I didn’t test and really looked if it makes a difference but I feel like it did for me.
