Hungry caterpillar quilt ideas

My friend wanted me to make her a quilt and this is the fabric she chose. I really love how it turned out. It's much softer with the quilting lines 4cm apart. I love the bright colours against the plain white. My son is making it hard for me to let this one go :) It measures 100cm x 130cm with the centre panel 25cm wide.

Soooo exciting! I'm really on the home stretch with Camo's Hungry Caterpillar Quilt. All I have to do now is hand stitch the binding on the reverse side and it's done. The quilting is just very simple and done with a monofilament thread as I really wanted the lovely fabrics to shine. Camo is thrilled, so I hope I can finish it up tonight. I wanted to share with you my quilting idea's for Patsy's quilt. The first thing I did on this quilt was decide what I wanted to quilt on the border. I decided to quilt a freehand feather, swirl, pebble filler. Now that the border quilting design was determined, I knew I wanted to carry those same designs throughout the rest of the quilt.
