Samurai Helmet/Kabuto model made in blender, texturing in substance painter, and a little help with zbrush. Inspired by the iconic samurai kabuto designs, I started this helmet on Gravity Sketch as an exercise to explore the tool. It was such a cool and fun workflow! All of these designs are purely imaginary; I'm not trying to recreate anything with historical accuracy.

This helmet was my own original design. I based the design off of real historical Samurai Kabutos but put my own spin on it. The mask as well as the dragon and lion on the side panels were sculpted in ZBrush. The Kabuto was modeled 3ds Max and the whole model was textured in Substance Painter. Polys: 79,839
