Joyce Bryant, American jazz singer. She was affectionately called the Black Marilyn Monroe & The Bronze Blonde Bombshell. She gained international acclaim for her earthy, sultry tone, silver-tinted hair (she dyed it to not be outdone during a performance with Josephine Baker), & figure-flattering costumes.
