I created the method to be an all in one, Swiss Army Knife of fitness routines. It’s inspired by Pilates but without the inflexible absolution of the routine. We add weights, cardio, targeted muscle focus, gut massage and new moves all the time. Women and their bodies have evolved and so should the movement.

Now, I’m not saying you should give up on your favorite exercise but after 5 years of only @bthemethod I’ve had zero injury, my old injuries have healed and I’ve never been stronger. When you jump back in, fight the urge to push yourself too hard to make up for lost time. Going full force right away is a good way to get injured, deplete your energy and cause a real setback.

My favorite way to regroup after taking time off is to move my body with an emphasis on decreasing airplane inflammation, resetting the travel gut, taking deep breaths and activating every tiny muscle of the body.
