Miniature witch cottage

Hi Everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful September and are doing well during this challenging time of staying at home more due to the Corona Virus. I recently was inspired to create a Halloween House. I spent about 20 days out of the past 25 days working on creating this new Halloween House. I think I have spent more time creating this house than any other house in more than 50 hours of work. I made myself a goal to only work on it after house hold chores, work and errands were done…

It may seem a little soon to be thinking about Halloween but.... Last year at work we had a pumpkin carving contest. I entered a pumpkin and won a gift card. It was a regular pumpkin with a traditional face. In my heart I started thinking more of wanting to make a diorama in a pumpkin. When I thought of this it was too late but I have held the images and thoughts of the witch's kitchen in my head. I think now is the best time to begin. I am going to buy one of those Funkins... carve-able…

I am getting there with the bedroom. I filled a glass jug with some juice and placed a few items on top of the dresser. The 'juice' I poured from a gel candle (not wax, but gel), which liquifies when it is heated. I also put a few little seed beads in, which should have sunk and floated in the 'juice', but I wasn't quick enough and the gel had set again. No big deal, it looks good anyway....
