The Winter Blush Sawtooth Star Quilt is a traditional hand made quilt, made with a variety of cotton fabrics. The design features a elegant arrangement of patterned period fabrics hand sewn in the traditional Sawtooth Star design. The design came from the way that the triangles resembled the teeth of a saw. The Farm and Fireside Magazine first named the Sawtooth Star Block in 1884, the first known recording. However, it does have other names, such as Evening Star, Morning Star, Variable Star, No Sawtooth Star Quilt, Sawtooth Star, Shabby Chic Quilts, Traditional Quilt Patterns, Queen Size Bedspread, Pink Quilt, Patchwork Inspiration, Pine Cone Candles, Evening Star
