An out-of-the-box designer gives a lackluster beach cottage a good dose of grown-up surf style.

For this bedroom, our client (a 5 year old boy) requested a surfer themed room! We brought in some of those elements to create a surfer vibe, and we just love how this sweet room turned out. Other than furnishings and decor, we also added a backlit headboard, hard-wired sconces for reading nightlights, added shiplap on the ceilings, and painted the whole room!
