A really fun game!
(though I'm still not 100% sure I've played it entirely "correctly")
Still unclear on:
1. Misconnections/missed connections: Are there any penalties for them, aside from perhaps not achieving "fewer than 3 misconnections" (+10 points)? Should I mark a negativity circle for each "unfixed" misconnection?
2. Water bonuses (river / river and waterfall). What as the "ground level" of a tile? Is the waterfall bonus sth. that allows me to draw a blue line that crosses all the other colors?
3. Error fixing: What's the exchange rate? A Pip per circle, or a die per circle?
All that being said: I had a lot of fun with this and was even able to appreciate misconnections and gaps, because they add to the mysterious/foreboding atmosphere the game gets as the "Story" and "Nature" tracks progress.
I took to drawing the little icons onto the map once I had completed their respective boxes.
The wonderful visual design was what made me keep trying to understand and play the game. Among other things, I had problems understanding that the dice pips determine which colors are used, which Hinokodo graciously took time to explain.
