Leonard is a good guy, in steps 1 and 2 he is energetic and smiling. In step 3 he is just going through a bad time in his life.
His scars and tired look really make him look more intimidating xd
Oh i see.. If that's the case then I think Sylvan and Leonard could be friends, but I don't think they'll be really close or anything
