oh no! what platform are you on, and does the game fail to load or does it crash? maybe i can fix it

thank you for the feedback :] i definitely think there's potential to keep the game exciting over a longer period of time, and your suggestions help give me some starting points for experimentation!

u hit the integer overflow!!! congrats haha

I really like the sound design :] I think there should be a special sound when a ball earns money. I also think the earliest upgrades could be made cheaper, so the player doesn't have to click hundreds of times to get feedback. Very satisfying game.

32 prestiges!!!! insane!!!

HAHA i was wondering how crazy the numbers would get with the exponential prestiges, thank you for showing me!!! ...perhaps i could do with some scientific notation, though i do kind of love seeing the numbers break the UI itself

pop pop!!

thank you for your feedback!! i'd definitely like to update it if there's interest :]

LMAOOOO UR SO RIGHT

thank you for playing :D congrats on finishing a run

this game is so fun and satisfying!! makes me want to try trijam :0 amazed you could do all this in 3 hours

thank you for playing!!

thank you for playing! i'm so happy you enjoyed the game, and i really loved watching your video!

the auto translate was so helpful: when you said "癒し効果あるよ。まじで8時間で作られたこのソフト、私の精神をすごく癒してくれる。" my heart was warmed!!

happy to help!! :D

thank you so much!!! yeah, i have a fixed version with better sound / performance/ user experience. stay tuned!!!

this is such a cool idea, and i had a ton of fun playing it! you turned a wacky joke concept into something very replayable :]

happy birthday

i appreciate the comment :] glad it feels better now

insane. bonkers. wild.

Haha, sometimes the game gets bugged and the levels play out of order. Adds character, maybe, but it will be fixed in the post-jam :p. I'm really glad you enjoyed your time with the game!!

this was great!

i made a mod! :D

I LOVE SHPOOBOWORLD

hello i made a fan game

https://absolutelyivy.itch.io/shpoobo-sona

shpoobo is wiiiiiild, haha. been loving this. there's so much content for a jam game.

PHENOMENAL game!! The attention to detail in each level is astounding, and the simple mechanics felt fresh with constant recontextualization. This is the kind of game that I love to see coming out of jams. It's specific, it's memorable, and it's so dosh garn cute. I would NOT want this adorable guy in my house!!!!

This is such a cool game. It has really good atmosphere, and the pacing is akin to games like Mouthwashing. It's rare to see full story focused games in a jam, and this is a really cool one! I really enjoyed the take on the "death games" genre, and like many titles in that genre this game is carried by its interesting characters. Great work!

I have to check that game out!! Thanks for the feedback.

Wow, I never even thought of this as a DS title but it makes so much sense! Maybe one day I could try and port it to the old hardware haha. I really appreciate all the kind words!

the meat of this game is wonderful. i love the 1-bit graphics, the mysterious vibe, and all of the extra effects and animations (especially the siphon). i do think the combat could be made a bit more forgiving, maybe with a dodge / i-frame ability or having the siphon speed up the longer you hold the button down. overall though this was super memorable, and you've totally upstaged me in the meatball genre -- we have beef!!!!!

I really appreciate the clear feedback! The hitboxes are definitely wonky, and the laser paths can also be pretty unclear/unresponsive. I am totally working on a post-jam version with a lot of the bugs ironed out and smoother interactions. Thank you for playing!

Such an awesome game!! The graphics are BEAUTIFUL, I think there should be way more games with this kind of aesthetic. The game itself is really fun and satisfying with a lot of hit feedback and great sound design. I do think there should be some sort of indicator showing what balls will be hit before you release the bat, because the range of the attack seems a little unclear. Excellent result overall -- I can't wait to see this game in the video!

Very cute and very fun! Love how short and sweet the game is, but I do wish there was more time spent as a small frog. Once you become large, there's very little you can do but stand still and eat. Overall though this game is bursting with appeal, and I'm not surprised that it's the highest rated!

This is a beautiful game! I love the environment as well as how the speculars/gloss are done on each marble. I don't know where your inspirations lie, but to me it feels like a really clever reinterpretation of Carrom. I had a lot of fun with this game and it feels deliciously original -- I haven't played anything close to this during the jam! Both our entries seem to pull from a similar vision of weird web games, and I believe you achieved that mystique in a much more effective way. My only criticism is that some angles are really difficult to pull off because the cursor goes off screen. Overall, really great stuff, and one of my favorite entries for this jam.

This game is really cool! I love the main shader that collapses the whole game into those two striking colors. The explosion effects and hit feedback are soooo juicy and make the game really fun to play. I think there is definitely room to make the platforming smoother, I was really itching to go super fast and abuse the heck out of the rocket jump, but I get that that could trivialize some of the jumping puzzles. This is quite a unique game with a really memorable creative voice. Good stuff!

This game has so much style!! The sound, art, and extra effects gel together really well. Building up damage scaling and ult is really satisfying, but I do wish the rest of the gameplay leaned into the power fantasy a little more, maybe with some additional feedback when attacking and parrying. Great stuff overall, this is a really fun take on the theme.

You probably ran into a hitbox issue! They're a liiitle wonky unfortunately. Glad you had fun despite that!

What a crazy concept! It reminds me broadly of an old itch game called Systems Nominal, but honestly I'm not sure I've played another game like this. The typing-test element of the game adds an extra level of brainpower, although it's pretty easy to tank your power if your fingers fall out of home row configuration for a moment. I really enjoyed the shotgun, but I wish there was more reason to switch weapons on the fly, and maybe a reminder about the weapon codes during the game. Super unique idea! This game definitely stands out across other jam entries.
