Discord works perfectly for me, sent you a friend request!

Tentatively interested in teaming up. I’m usually the writer but a lot more confident in original works. Would be happy to take the programming off your hands!

Nice! It even works in mobile browser (iOS). Glad I could play this a bit instead of the ad-riddled App Store versions.

Such a fun and wholesome story! Lovely art perfectly matching the fairy tale vibes too. Really appreciate the behind the scenes part too, the characters are very nice and it’s great to know how you created them.

The default being Jonathan gave me such a strong throwback to Dracula I almost giggled. Ahhh Dragan is adorable. The attention to player choices is very pleasant too, like the early-on trick with whether you lie or not about your motivations. I had a lot of fun playing the demo and hope to come back and play the full game once it’s done. Great job!

Powerful metaphor and a lot of relatable experiences. I love what you did with the turning process and the cannibalism part. Never seen this take on vampires before, it’s interesting and exciting. Rebirth.

I’m rooting for the vampire queen, conrad and the friendo vampires >w< They’re all so cute.

Even though unfinished, I really like where it’s going. The narrative is paced so well, I got dragged into it and couldn’t stop reading. The light/dark, prose/poetry, human-puppet-corporate/vampire-feral-dangerous - love the contrast.

Sweet and bitter melancholy. I really liked the imagery of the sun, the pinks, the sand, the oranges. Very vivid.

Amazing story, I love the intermingling of old timey tech, almost religious adoration toward HIM, and the AI images, sci-fi, dead malls - futurism.

Very raw and visceral. Thank you for sharing. The visuals and atmosphere and text all come together into a very powerful story. I’m not sure I understood everything correctly but it certainly had an impact.

thanks to the comments i figured out it worked on Edge for me! windows 10 firefox also didnt want to run it :(

Fascinating game. I love the prose and I also just generally like being little animal-like or dragon-like creatures. The thralls made me somewhat sad though. I didn’t read the description before playing so didn’t know whether to expect a friendly, neutral, or a darker take on vampires - and mistakenly assumed it was going to be somewhere between friendly and neutral. The option to refrain from drinking from thralls broke my heart :( I actually did surprisingly well on my first round, considering that day 1 was just walking around confused. But then wanted to see if there would be an ending if I just slept every day without going outside. Quickly descended into like -99 on stats. Again, fascinating game. Will keep an eye on the updates.

My absolute favorite ending was the medium one. All of them are really emotional though, such a pleasure. And you said original music? It works so well! Really beautiful use of the engine for sure. The choice to have their portraits in these rectangular shapes adds to the aristocracy of it all together with the color scheme and serif font. Did you draw the art digitally or traditionally? mixed? It looks like traditional art, I really love it.

Running around in circles screaming thank you so much to everyone who made this happen, such an amazing project!! You all are AWESOME

I loved the variety between melancholy and kind of self-blame and the sweet confidence in one another. Lyle and their family are very cute, and I’m curious about Zach’s backstory. Thank you!

Thank you so much!!

Try to figure out which choice displays more attention to which character and stick to one character only. In the second half, Mihnea likes honesty, while Teri doesn’t mind whether you’re proactive or more passive. Now thinking about it, I’ll add a txt file with a full guide to the downloadables later so there’s an option if anyone else gets stuck or if the hint doesn’t help!

Haha good luck! Let us know if you need a hint :) Thanks for playing <3

Don’t mind if I do 👀

Very well-done, love the sketch style matching the story.

The demon lord really is so pretty <3

Sounds right up my alley but wanna wait for the customizable MC. Just from this page, the art and concept are amazing and the color scheme adds so much to it.

absolutely amazing. i could use photoshop for this, ive done it before, but your zine maker gives a better experience! like, it's made with love and has all the fun tools and vibes that you need for a successful zine!

Woohoo I’ll make sure to play at some point during the jam!

Thank you, appreciated ❤️

Thank you, it means a lot to know the characters and dynamics came across! This story has been brewing in my head for a long while and there's more to tell. If I continue exploring these two, it might be a larger patch to this game (with more choices as well) or a whole sequel, not sure yet.

Excellent zine, thank you for sharing ❤️ I will print it out one day if I get a printer at home!

Hi! Got confused about submission rules. Me and my friends made a game during August (just finished this Saturday) and thematically and in content it fits this jam like 1000%, but. Could you confirm that it's fine to submit if a lot of the game was made before August 27th?

Fascinating game. I'm glad I learned how to play Donsol, although I agree with another commenter that the explanation in the game itself was too difficult. I went to the og link and watched a video to understand. The art and concept though!!! Wonderful. Never expected so much tenderness from an eldritch horror god too, that was a pleasant surprise.
