Thank you. Plants can't overlap, so they can't be placed on top of each other. Spiked bush is an exception, because it's kind of the purpose of the plant. Enemies don't attack it directly either. Web version works exactly as intended, only problem seems to be the water shader. Correct behavior would be reflecting everything above it, just like in the windows version, but for whatever reason it's a solid color.

Thanks for the feedback. Only two enemies spawn at a time and there are no enemy waves, they spawn continuously instead, as long as there isn't another enemy in that place. I agree about the audio, but we couldn't find a teammate for it, and it wasn't our main focus anyways.

Thank you for hosting the jam and playing our game. I saw you play the game on your stream this morning without pressing the right click to use the other weapon. It's kinda my fault for not writing clear instructions but there wasn't much in the game anyways.

Thank you for playing and giving feedback. You're right, there's a bug that I wasn't able to figure out with the shots. I would've liked to make more progress because there are a lot of things left out that we just didn't have time for. I've already fixed some of the issues with the game and am hoping to upload a build after the voting ends. However I'm not sure if we'll continue working on the game as a team or move onto different projects.

It is very confusing in that way, it's definitely something that needs improvement. When the game starts, the enemies come immediately. So it was most likely an enemy you weren't able to see. Thank you for trying our game regardless.

Sorry for the audio issues,

Very cute, and it looks like it cut off it's own nose with the attack animation. I wish there was a pack with this art style so I could make a game with it.

Congrats! You made an awesome game even better. Seems to be even more difficult. I just couldn't get very far in about an hour of playtime. That took away the main punch of the game for me, but it's still an incredible game.

Yes, it's just a main menu for now. Unfortunately I didn't have time to implement anything else during the jam, but we are still developing the game.

I did just manage to get to the "end game" a bunch of times, and wow! The game is aweomse. The balance seems perfect, although it's very luck based because you need to get the right upgrades at the right time. What ended up killing me always was the lag.

Very fun but extremely difficult. 30sec to 1m is the longest anyone can survive.

Hi, could you add me on discord so we can talk more about it? My username is chubshobe

No. It's a community project, similar to Godot itself.

Thank you for following.

I'm interested in what you mean by a character creation app.

Bump, where are the people at?

Heyo. I just made a post about my game, you can read about it here:

https://itch.io/t/4195522/godot-playtester-looking-for-anyone-to-playtest-my-sim...

It's a pixelart game, so if you're interested I'd like to discuss more.

Hi!

I've been working on a learning project recently, using Godot's ENet multiplayer to create a simple 2D fighting game. I want this project to serve as a resource for multiplayer in Godot, while also being developed into a fun and interesting game.

You can join to contribute or playtest.

If you're worried that I'm gonna hack you or whatnot, the project is already on Github. You can clone and make a build yourself,  join from directly within the editor, or even host the server yourself. Also there's no direct connection between the server and clients because it uses playit.gg which itself uses tunneling, so the server doesn't even get the client's IP.

If you prefer to contact through discord add chubshobe

Hello!

I've been working on a Counter Strike inspired game with my own unique premise. The game is an FPS, focused on strategy and coordination.

There are lots of features planned, however, right now, we need your art to make the prototype more visually interesting.

I'd be happy to playtest it with you as well, you can find First Strike on my itch page.

I reply faster on Discord: chubshobe

Awesome! I've sent you a friend request.

Hey there,

I have a bit of a silly proposal: How would you like to star in our survival game?

It's a silly ask but I think it'd be really funny.

It'd be mostly grunting sounds I imagine, chomping down on food... quirky things like that, which I think your voice would be very entertaining to listen to.

Thank you! I do agree that we need a lot of polish and definitely a thumbnail. Overall I did not spent too much time on it so we did not have enough time to implement all of these things, even though I wish we did!

I was looking forward to participating in this jam because of the beautiful theme around it, though unfortunately I was kicked out of my team and it doesn't look like I will be able to find another.

Anyways, good luck to everyone!

Hi! I'd like to team up with you.

Thank you! If we decide to develop this further we'll definitely take your feedback. Unfortunately our composer left early on in the jam and we didn't have an SFX artist so we didn't bother with sound.

How do I play

Thank you so much! We had a nice vision for the game but unfortunately we weren't able to realize it in time (largely due to my poor programming). I do want to update it, but I am a bit busy so I'm not sure if I'll get to it in time. The update would remove the stun mechanic which was never meant to be in the game, I added it for testing purposes. What exactly did you mean by the collisions btw? What is inconsistent about them? Are they not the expected size, not colliding with things that you expect to...?

Yup!

Sadly I can't play the game because there's no linux build and it's not playable in the browser.

Thank you! Reigns was one of our references, it's a surprisingly good way to tell an interactive story. Unfortunately we weren't able to develop the game further into what I believe would've been a very unique and interesting game. But hopefully you were able to play a functional, basic version of it and made some cool choices.

I only had enough time for one level.

It had one unique mechanic which was used poorly. The gameplay felt long and unfair, as the enemies just kept walking towards me. It did moderately fit the theme, as it was built into it. Overall not very fun. Thank you for sharing it.

Hooray for the cat! Not as much for the game... The gameplay was as mediocre as the player's life. The theme fit very well, saving the cat's life while living your own. It is very innovative story-wise, but not very fun, the only joy I felt was for the cat. Thank you for sharing the game.

Apart from it being a mess, I think that replacing boring number progression with age is a fantastic idea.

This game has an interesting concept, making it unique. However it is very difficult, and combined with it's dull nature it creates a frustrating experience which quickly becomes boring.

I did not like how generic this game was. It only fits the theme because of it's genre, meaning poor innovation. Overall it was not very fun. Thank you for sharing the game, and I hope my criticism will help you improve.
