This games concept and description immediately intrigued me as someone who has been both creative and online my whole life, and while very short (despite the description saying 40 minutes I was done in 10 if not less, despite clicking through all the dress-up options) I found it well worth the time to play.

I can tell a lot of heart and love was put into this game and it really does show that it is a love letter to creation. It felt extremely true to life and while following Galateas journey I was constantly reminded of similar evolutions in my own OCs and those I've followed online. The animated sprites and the changes in the UI/background really elevate the otherwise simple game. I'd recommend for anyone with a creative past and 10 minutes to spare to take the time to check this out. Excited to see what this team puts out in the future, I'll definitely be giving you a follow.

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed the story 😊 I can't take credit for the save system however as that (thankfully!) comes default with Twine (the interactive fiction engine used). I'm curious as to which ending you got! I know the description says there are 3, but its more 2.5 as the last ending is quite tricky to trigger unless you know exactly what to do 😅

Thank you! :)

A fun little game, the graphics are adorable, and the music goes nicely as well. The only "negative" in my opinion is that the theme isn't very strong: other than that it is a charming entry and looks really polished considering the time frame! All other assets such as the fonts have been perfectly chosen and everything is very cohesive.

On my very first playthrough I didn't realise you had to click to use the spear and was a little confused but this was quickly remedied when I read the description -- the little bit about the CSS was amusing and it would have been fun to see that somehow in a little intro or something if you were to expand upon the game.

A really fun game! The graphics looked great too, and the overall look and feel is very polished. The one problem I had was that you can't upgrade with units straight from the shop -- this meant that in my first game when I filled every slot with a different unit, I wasn't able to level any of them. But once I realised this I had a lot of fun levelling my guys on my next run. Overall really impressive, especially considering the time frame.  I would definitely play a more expanded-upon version of this.

I love a good pun so the title really drew me to this game! The presentation and graphics are also good, Tony having a little animation does a lot to liven up the game. I'm definitely not a maths person though so I admit I often just hit submit without entering anything if the problem was too complicated😅I think it would have been nice if the other half of the screen had a calculator on it, since you are at a computer! I think that also would have added to the feeling of monotony, just clicking numbers on a calculator over and over. As it stands I had to spend a lot of focus thinking about the maths problems which wasn't very monotonous to me. Another idea I think would be fun is if there were some little knick-knacks on Tonys desk that had a fun little noise or animation when you clicked on them -- in the beginning of the game this would be fun for both the player and tony +  up the monotony but as the game went on they too would become boring and routine. Just my two cents! I also didn't understand the end-of-month screen at first, I didn't realise you had to click the items to buy them, I thought those were stuff Tony was spending money on automatically every month until I realised I wasn't gaining any sanity at the end of the month.

I really liked the humor in the entry titles, as well as the game-over screen where you run out of money and tony robs a bank :D The change in graphics as Tonys sanity drops were also good, it made me sad to see his little smile disappear!

The description for this game really intrigued me so I was excited to play it-- but unfortunately I couldn't get it to load everything in correctly. I could see the number on the floor and the text when I clicked on (presumably) doors, but I couldn't see the doors themselves which meant I was basically just clicking randomly.

Either way I found the writing and atmosphere really compelling. Intrigue really is the key word as I really wanted to figure out the mystery of the tower! I really liked the writing, and together with the music it really built up an air of mystery.

I should have taken a closer look at the gif on the game page before playing as I was initially a bit confused as to how to make a loop and it took me several game overs to figure it out 😅But after I did I really enjoyed this game -- the loop concept feels very unique and interesting for a snake game, and the look and feel of the game is very polished considering the time frame. I especially like the particle effects and how cohesive the colours and visuals feel. Great job!

Really interesting game! It truly felt unique and not like anything I've ever played before. I definitely found it difficult but it felt like the kind of game that you'd definitely get better at over time. I'd be really interested to see this concept expanded upon.

Also loved the music, really elevated the vibe!

A fun little game, I'm sure with some more time it will be a really fun mobile game!

I've never played a mobile shooter before but the controls were easy once I got used to them and I liked the varied enemy types and level up system. The number one thing I was missing was some sort of charge-up bar or animation for the slower weapons like the bow and the staff -- if there was a repeating indicator of when they fire it would be easier to plan and switch between hiding and aiming. A great effort for the short time frame!

I really liked this game! I have a fondness for "survival" games with resource management and especially farming, so I was immediately drawn to your entry. The presentation is also really nice, the sounds and music complement the game well and the graphics are charming and perfectly suited to the game -- and I LOVE the cyclical wheel of the seasons!

I found the game quite hard in the beginning, especially managing temperature -- I really wished that eating by the fire in the winter raised your temperature, or at least stopped it from falling. But once I managed to upgrade my house the game got easier. I liked the meditation system and the buffs you got, although I wish it took seasons into account as I often got the green thumb buff right in the start of winter which felt disappointing. The buffs felt a little imbalanced to me, some were really strong (like the temperature one) and others were not very exciting (like the fishing one). I was also a little disappointed when I upgraded the farm and saw that it made more plots as I found 2 plots to be more than enough for the whole game. I was hoping the farm upgrade would make farming quicker, and I soon stopped planting more than 2 plots of crops as the farming just took too long and I had an abundance of food.

The number one thing I would want added to the game though is a year counter! I would love to see how many years it took me to reach enlightenment so that I could compare with others or try to improve :) My other suggestion would be some sort of debuff for not eating a varied diet -- my poor monk ate nothing but carrots for 90% of the game which seems like a shame when there were so many food sources. Maybe there is a buff for eating varied meals but it didn't seem worth the time investment to find out. Overall I really like this game and am impressed by how much polish you managed to give it in just a week.

Thank you for playing! And for your kind words on the narrative :) I definitely want to go back and give the writing a good editing pass after the jam but I am quite happy with it considering the time frame so I'm really pleased to hear you enjoyed it :D

Thanks so much for playing!<3

Thank you! I definitely wanted it to be bittersweet so I'm glad that came across. I love fantasy games and I wish more fantasy rpgs and similar games focused more on the quieter emotional beats and not just the epic battles and the fate of the world at large x)

Thank you for playing :D Yeah I'm a sucker for epic fantasy stories... if only it didnt take so long to actually write a whole epic tale from start to finish!! x) I'm glad the bittersweet feeling came across.

Thank you!! I was very inspired (in a roundabout way) of my memories of playing Dragon Age: Origins, and the short talk you have with each companion before the final battle... They could have made those scenes 10x longer and I wouldve loved it!! xD

Looking forward to future jams!
