Quick bug report. I wanted a photomode shot of an explosion after killing one of the enemies, and the "I'm Expired" dialog blocked all of my menu options. I literally had to quit because the continue button was blocked.

For reference, I can't click on anything above "Stats".

Also pretty sure that nothing saves. Using the Mac version + the terminal hack described below in a reply to DependanceTempelhof's comment.

Okay, looks like your URL was claimed about 4 days ago. Just checking that this was you and not someone else.

Coming July 4th!! This jam focuses on wit and older culture. Shakespear enthusiasts and rickrollers, go wild.

Love the concept, can't meet the deadline. Great job promoting witticism!

105 on my first run. I was so hoping I could make "bumper licker" at 150 ;). Probably the best 2D shooter I've played since Galaga. Would love to see some more variety of enemies and strategy, but it's a minigame so whatever. Still awesome.

Oh, yeah! I can Uke that.

I'd like the lines in English, but the French accent is perfect. If you can, try to add a little German to complete the evil doctor feel.

https://lowkeydev.itch.io/metropolis-last-stand/download/V8d53c8qYRl5GcBhKCZm7_s...

Works (or should work) on Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Fair warning, I don't have discord or any other social media stuff.

This game literally needs no description, so I'll let the screenshots speak for themselves. A truely a great game.

*IMPORTANT* - Mac users make sure to read the comments!

Ditto. Older Macbook running OS 10.15, said error damaged file. "xattr -cr [app drag]" worked first try. According to Stack Overflow, the chmod command can actually be dangerous to your system security and probably mess up your computer. Just a warning, it does nothing, and I'm pretty sure that the syntax is wrong (at least for my system). This is a game I would love to see with multiplayer and would buy if I could. For now though, I'm gonna play the heck out of the demo. Great graphics, great gameplay, great game.

Looking for some voice lines. The game is called Metropolis' Last Stand, and as you may be able to tell from the name, it's still in development. The character is an evil doctor who has built an army of robots to take over the world. The doctor will never be shown onscreen due to the fact that I have no desire to model anything humanoid. You would have complete freedom to ad lib or change any of the lines you like to fit the character better. Also this is for a hobby game, so unfortunately it would be unpaid work, but a real voice is so much better than a pitiful AI fake, and I'd be very grateful if you did want to help.

If you would like to do this, just reply to this comment and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

P.S, Jack White is an artist I've never heard of before, but I like your guitar covers a lot!

Okay, just downloaded it. It's an exe, which means that without an emulator it's not compatible with MacOS or Linux. Good thing I have an emulator.

It'd probably be a good idea to re-label it to only Windows, because otherwise somebody who uses one of the other ones is going to be really disappointed.

I'll let you know what I think of the gameplay when I get around to it. Looks cool from the screenshots though!

Really bummed that this doesn't work for me. If I had to guess, it's a 32-64 bit thing. Looks like a great game though!

Okay, now I've submitted two.

Just one for now, but with plans to update it in the future, and possibly to submit the game I've offered a sneek peek for anyone who can complete the challenge (click the link and read the section above the leaderboard). I still have 4 years, so no rush. Love it :)

This is an incredible multiplayer, in-browser game. The concept is awesome, and the execution is flawless. 10/10

Hats off to you BlueEagle, this is game is the definition of real creativity.

https://blueeagle421.itch.io/tic-tac-what

This is a great game. I haven't used the online mode, but the local play is super fun.

Wait... Is this really compatible with all major operating systems?

THIS GAME LOOKS AWESOME!!! That dive is so cinematic. Starter game? Looks better than a lot of published games (including my own) to me :D

Don't sweat the small stuff and keep making real video games. If you want more weapons or maps or graphics let it wait. The gameplay counts, and this game will not be found wanting.

“How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a weary world.” – The Merchant of Venice

Noticed your name was a Shakespear quote, so I thought you'd appreciate this.

Also, I apparently can't play this. MacOS, Intel i5, 8GB RAM, and Intel HD 4000 graphics. I've had previous problems with Unreal games.

Great idea! Bows could be unique in that the cooldown comes before the shot, while crossbows can be pre-charged and fired but then need to be reloaded.

A hammer that deals knockback and possibly a morning star would be epic :)

Yeah, no problem! Keep creating great stuff like this!

One button, one cartoonishly oversized sawblade, one bowling pin, and many hours of way-too-addicting gameplay.

Available to anyone who can keep the high score for more than a week is a sneek-peek/demo of my next game, which I'll be releasing sometime in 2026 (hopefully).

I have a Mac version of this game made with paulthetall's Porting Kit. If Blackthordprod is interested, it wouldn't be too difficult to send it over via a temporary Itch page. I'm not about to distribute copies of a game I don't have any rights to without the developer's permission.

Hi, LowKeyDev here.

I've made a MacOS version of this with paulthetall's Porting Kit. It runs very well for being an emulated game. If you'd like, Mac support is a really nice feature I'm happy to send it to you.

EDIT: I completely missed the fact that you already have a Mac version. So sorry about this, but if you think it could solve the m1 Mac problem I'd still be happy to help.

I haven't played it yet, but it looks incredible! If you're interested I've got a MacOS version made with paulthetall's Porting Kit you could attach.

THIS GAME IS SO AWESOME! One of the best racing games I've ever played. I'm also really looking forward to the multiplayer update.

P.S, Scarlet Games, If you're reading this I've got a MacOS version  made with paulthetall's Porting Kit you could attach here.

Awesome games! I'm very interested in fast running graphics and old engines! I have a win 32 emulator that might be able to run one of your games. Which one would you recommend?

Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but the top link is broken. Error 404 page not found.

Hi, I'm the LowKeyDev and for anyone reading this, I make games with UPBGE. A bit older, but it works.

I've developed a 3D reboot of the arcade classic Pong, as well as a game of my own devising that I call Splat. Imagine Smash Bros but both players are goombas.

Anyone interested in a subscribe plug on my project page feel free to record and post a video of one of these games.

https://lowkeydev.itch.io/

Hi, I'm the LowKeyDev, and I'm looking for someone to record one of my games and post it on Youtube. If you do, please share it with me. I'd love to attach a video (and a shameless subscribe plug for anyone interested) to my project page. https://lowkeydev.itch.io/

Please let this not be a dead topic.

Hi,

I really want to try this out, but the game gives me this pop-up. Are you aware of any hardware requirements to run this game?

I'm also using Wineskin to port this for MacOS, so if the hardware is okay, I'll have to update the DirectX settings.

I'm rockin' a 2.5 Ghz Intel i5 by the way.

Thanks to Rosscoe3 and youle on blenderartists.org, a Linux version of Splat is now available! Anyone interested in playtesting it can find all three versions free to download!

       Features:

*8 different maps

*Local multiplayer with Smash Bros-style combat

*Commands that allow you to play pranks improve your friends' experience

*And much more!

Stomp on the other player's head before they stomp yours!!

I really want to see Redstone in this game. That's literally the only thing it needs.

Great job bloxd.company!

https://niemi-bros.itch.io/the-arcane-relics

Still in development, but it's really great. The game looks great even on the lowest setting, and it's local multiplayer (1-4). If you've got some friends to play this with and you like medieval combat games, this is for you.

Hi, LowKeyDev here. I'd like to know if anyone would post a gameplay video/trailer on Youtube for one of my projects so I can attach them to the project page. I don't have a Youtube account and really don't want one. It would help immensely, and there's free advertising / a subscribe plug in it if you're interested. https://lowkeydev.itch.io/

Seperately, I'm looking to do better for the cover art on my game Splat. The current cover looks horrible and very un-professional. It was literally the work of 5 minutes in a photo editor that I didn't nor likely ever will understand. No money in this either I'm afraid. Anyone with some spare time though, it would be much appreciated and the subscribe plug stands. If you'd like some gameplay footage for the cover, I'll either whip up some real quick and email it to you or see above.

https://lowkeydev.itch.io/splat-v010

Thanks in advance!

Hey Joak, I might be interested in some music for an FPS project titled "Metropolis' Last Stand" [even the name is still a work-in-progress]. The
game itself is visually pretty dark, and judging from your Youtube channel this is likely to be very different than what you're use to. Just to be clear, it's also not a horror game, and I took most of my inspiration from online clips of COD MW3 and Black Ops 6. I'm looking for something kind of ominous and sneaky, but with room for action such as possible jump-scares, explosions, and gunplay. I also intend for the game to last for a 30 minute night cycle followed by 5 minutes of "dawn", where enemy spawning triples and the player is likely to be facing hordes of enemies while looking at an immense sunrise. For this I'd like an epic brass-and-strings version of whatever theme you make for the night.

Oh, and the enemies are a kind of robotic spider-monkey hybrid based on Blender's Suzanne model. That might complicate the vibes a little.

If you'd like to provide the music, just let me know by responding to this post and I'll email you some game footage if you like.

Okay first of all, very solid game. Only two small bugs unintended features I feel could take some fixing. One, no matter what name you call your character it's called "NAMELESS." Two, the horses walking inside the ground.

Like I said, love the game and all the attention that went into the ragdolls, animations, and the 3d modeling. Making the player attack around the horse is a very small detail and I know how tempting it is to just ignore stuff like that. You guys are making way better games than I can. Keep up the good work and God bless you.

Using a piece-of-junk Amazon controller that's supposed to be a ps3/ps4 on the MacOS version and it's not registering. Where the game says "click to play" the triangle button works instead of clicking, and it will register that something is connected when I get to the create player menu, but it says "unknown device" and doesn't let me move or select anything with the d-pad, either joystick, or the fake touchpad even when I play the actual game. Even worse, I can't get the controller to register on the keybinds menu. I know it's my fault for using this thing, but is there even a remote chance I could get it to work? This is the only controller I have, and I really want to use the multiplayer function.

Something kind of wierd is that other Unity games work fine with the same controller. Namely "Zoomies: Cat Racing" by Scarlet Games. True, I'm running it via Porting Kit, but that shouldn't have any effect on the inputs, right?

A Windows version is now available, but untested. If you decide to download it let me know how it goes.

https://lowkeydev.itch.io/3d-pong

Hi everyone! LowKeyDev here. I've just published my take on the old video game Pong.

Features:

-Controller support

-Single and two player modes

-7 different music tracks to change between {I reccommend listening to all of them ;)}

-A built-in happy birthday wisher that triggers after the match is over

I can only export to Mac x64 right now, really sorry about that. Windows version is still a work-in-progress. Anyone who knows how to get UPBGE 2.5 to export HTML I'd be very grateful if you'd let me in on the secret.

I'm new to Itch.io, so any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!
