I initially planned to do cutscenes showing the rats kidnapping the boyfriend but I couldn't get to it in time 😅  I think you're totally right about blender. The animation workflow is not intuitive at all but I think I finally got the hang of it. I'll definitely be posting some animation stuff as well as gamedev updates on my socials (I'm on a lot of websites the links can be found over here https://pixelberk.neocities.org/ ). Thank you so much for playing!

Thank you for playing! Yeah, I know about the key thing :D

that is a very cool demonstration. I saved it on my desktop to use it as a reference in the future. Thank you for sharing!

I died 3 times. I find the cutlery to be a better first buy than the demon smasher. Scythe is goated though. The ringing phone is a cool way to set the goal for the next run. It could have easily been just a number in the corner without any flare. I really appreciate music ramping up too. Very nice game!

Thank you for playing. I made the classic mistake of over estimating my abilities and waaay over-scoping. I had to cut a lot of ideas out because I couldn't get them done in time.  That got me feeling down by the end because I was feeling like I was submitting  a game that wasn't fun to play. Your comment has turned that around completely. I was smiling ear to ear while reading it. So, thank you so so much for writing it. :D

very appealing pixel art and very satisfying turning sound.

very cool game. have no idea why  I got fired. my team of all senior devs were doing great.

I love how everything is animated. a lot juice for a jam game.

I don't quite know what's happening but I made this thing :D

vibin with the music

:D thank you for playing

thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing, Due my crippling procrastination habit and the fact that I scrapped my initial idea and restarted halfway into the jam, I didn't have time to add an actual goal. It was so hypnotizing to watch the collisions that I decided to upload the project anyway.  😅

that's awesome. I used the user:// path in other projects before but I just assumed it wouldn't work in the web. good to know that it actually works.

you probably weren't :D I just thought it'd be satisfying to use the hammer and see them scatter. Thank you so much for playing.

oooh, I didn't see the tabs up top. also I realized that even though I closed and opened the browser between the two times I played, the levels I unlocked didn't get reset. Are you somehow using cookies or something to achieve that or did I hallucinate that?

really cute idea and incredible graphics. very impressive amount of work for 9 days. in dire need of a mouse sensitivity slider.

cute game

Oh, I didn't realize it was made in only 48 hours. Nice job.

I think the second level might be introducing too many ways to use the bubble without checkpoints. I gave up at the "spike corridor" right before the gate.

Thank you for playing!

Thanks for playing :D

I knew playing exuberant amounts of dice poker in Witcher 2 would come in handy one day. Manny the Mantis didn't have a chance. Absolute 10/10 game.

That makes me extremely happy read. If you're interested in seeing further development of this game you can follow me on mastodon or bluesky as I will definitely expand it in the future. Thank you very much for playing!

Thank you for playing! I'll definitely keep developing this game and see where I can take it.

man, participation level 11 and 26 is insane and the experience really does show in the game. I found the inventory minigame to be very fun and creative. I felt that the game threw right in the deep end with the flute minigame. I think I missed more than 160 notes. I could only see the guy's feet in the boss fight because he turned into a ultra mega devil titan.

yeah, you're totally right about the scroll wheel. I'll be adding the controls in the description. Thank you!

I believe I was on chromium when I played it. That's interesting though, I should be testing my game in different browsers a bit more extensively.

Thanks for playing. It's super nice to see that stuff worked as intended 😅

Interesting. I'll take a look in firefox when I have the time. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing! Glad to see you enjoyed it.

Thank you so much for your comment, it made me very happy. Do you mind sharing which browser was giving the error so that maybe I can give it a go?

Oh yeah, I thought about rats and cats and birds and snakes and everything :D In the end I could only do elephants and bunnies in 9 days though. Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much for playing. Do you mind me asking what part of the first level you got stuck on? For instance did you hear the sound of the sliding door and the click sound it makes when it fully opens or closes? Or maybe did you think that the the door would stay open once you got off the pressure plate?  I'm asking because I would like to get better at telegraphing these things to the player. Thanks again for playing and thanks for your comment. :D

oh and the music has some very satisfying percussion sounds.

the pose on the loss screen gave me a good chuckle but then I almost went 8-0 against the second enemy.

good concept and very cute art. it's quite unfinished but it's a nice effort.

really nice art style and a bunch cute critters. Even though I mostly have no idea what's going on this game made me feel very smart for thinking of putting the glasses on the cat. hehe

Very good game. The catch mini-game is the cutest thing ever. The care level indicator is bugged I think. You can also bring up the end game panel by pressing space at any time. I'm not sure if that's intended or a leftover debugging thing.
