Sorry you ran into that issue, I'll make sure to add a check for out-of-bounds! Please try the game again at some point when you have the time!

Neat arcade-y game, reminded me of classic snake which I love! Pretty fun challenge, really enjoyed the music speeding up to fit with the progress too. I would have liked to see the UI a little bigger on the game screen, I was frequently looking up to check which colour to avoid.

Thanks for the feedback!

Love the art, reminds me of the Rainbow Fish! Swimming around is pretty fun too, avoiding the moonfish with a well-timed dash feels pretty satisfying.

Pretty cool experience, really liked the art and general vibe. I liked the multiple endings too, a neat twist.

(Maybe a minor bug? Might have just been for me, but I found that the music only started once I moved the camera.)

I think we ended up making games along a similar idea! I really like the physics applied to all the objects, makes interacting with the objects a lot of fun in itself. I also like the risk-reward of the different equipment, the feathers having a cumulative chance over time to detect a fake while the Test box will get it right every time but takes forever! The scales are a neat idea too, but I had no idea what the expected value for the objects was, so I couldn't tell if there were any weight variances, please tell me if I missed something there. Overall though, I really liked it! Would love to see an update once the jam is over with more item types.

(Also, noticed a minor bug, after playing a game and going back to menu, clicking the options button won't open it. Pressing ESC does still open the menu though, so not too major!)

A pretty interesting type of game that I'm not sure I've seen before! I like the look of the coins and the way they light up on collision, it made me a little sad that the objective was to shove them out of sight. Overall good experience!

(Found a minor bug, I could see the world behind the moving clouds texture on the title screen as it would move to the right for a while before moving back to the starting position. I think this is due to me playing on a 4k monitor which you might not have accounted for! I'd be happy to send a screenshot if you think that would help).

Really cute idle clicker! Adorable aesthetic.

Thank you for the feedback! This game definitely isn't for everyone, which is why I opted not to include a timer so that players wouldn't feel too pressured by quick maths. You're also totally right about the shiny thing, I'll make that clearer in the update I plan to make after the judging period is over.

It sounds like you're almost there! You do have to add up both faces (these are the Type and Alignment of the card, you can see if they are valid using the notes in the toolbar!), as well as the values of the stats and any other miscellaneous additions from the valuation guide. Before you value a card, make sure the card you are valuing is real and not fake! Use all of the notes from the toolbar to identify and appraise the cards and you'll be a top inspector in no time.

Really unique (and gross!) take on an idle game. I love the look and feel of the presentation, and the incremental loop is pretty great too, albeit short! I would have loved to see more types of upgrades and just more in general! Looking forward to seeing what you do next!

Thanks for your feedback! To value a card, take a look at the valuation guide note from the toolbar on the left, add up the relevant numbers, type that number in the valuation box on the right and then send the card off! Give it another go and see if that works for you.

Check it out!

Thanks to everyone who rated and played this game! We had a blast making it, and hope you had fun playing it!

We've updated the game to version 1.2, incorporating all of the great feedback you've given us. Please check it out and let us know what you think!

Yeah, that makes sense! I can see crashing getting frustrating for players so I can see why it wasn't implemented. I think a slowing effect on collision could be a bit more fair, something to consider for an update?

Thanks for your feedback! The update we have planned for this weekend should hopefully address the issue you've mentioned here about the projectile reload (and many others!), please check back in a couple of days!

Great experience, wonderful atmosphere and innovative concept. Would love to see something like this expanded upon as the game felt quite short and too easy. The art was brilliantly suggestive and took me by surprise many times! That being said, I feel like the theme of winter was only tangentially relevant to the game, I would have liked to see it incorporated a bit more. Looking forward to seeing what your team do next!

Nice, glad you could get it working! Unfortunately some of the game's systems are frame-rate dependent. I know that it is usually bad practice but we had a deadline to meet!

Thanks for your feedback! We had planned on different enemy types but unfortunately we didn't have time to implement it.

(1 edit)

I'm really sorry the game isn't running correctly for you, this is the first time I've heard of this particular issue after over 70 downloads... My only guess right now is that your laptop may not meet the minimum specs for the game to run correctly? I hope you can hold off on making a rating for now and give our game another try on another device when you get home!

Hmm that's definitely odd, there should be enemies spawning within 2-6 seconds of the game starting. I've not heard of anyone encountering a bug like this before, can I ask what platform you are playing on?

Check out my game if you get the chance, I think our games share a fair bit of DNA, so would be great to hear your feedback!

Great little platform-shooter, really enjoyed it. I particularly liked the slow-down effect on getting shot, felt quite polished! I would have loved to see some powerups or something falling to the ground with the snow, something to spice up the gameplay a touch! That being said, cool game, looking forward to seeing your next project!

Give our game a spin if you fancy!

I feel like this is a great start to improve on, the mechanics of the game aren't quite there yet. Enemies seemingly have a lot of health and aren't fast enough to catch you if you maneuver in a circle. I'd love to see an update to this game to tweak some of the values to improve gameplay!

Cool take on a minesweeper-style puzzle game! Loved the adaptive music and the colour palette choice. Can't say I was the best at this game, but had fun all the same!

Interesting take on a skiing game, a very unique approach! Once I got the hang of the controls, I found the movement to be pretty fun, although there didn't seem to be any penalty for crashing. Excited to see what you do next!

Really cool puzzle-platformer with a simple but sweet art style. Always love to see a palette swap mechanic (but I am biased because I've put one in my game too!) and there are some great choices here, I really liked the second one with the green and white. One of my favourites from the jam for sure.

Cool skiing, I liked how fluid the movement was. I didn't see much of the monster, would have loved to see a bit more challenge. Nice game!

Thank you for your feedback! There is going to be at least one more update coming later this week after the judging period is over which will contain a lot of improvements based on the feedback we've been getting. After that, who knows!

Really cool visual style and very impressive building mechanics! Would have loved to see more but I'm sure making something on this scale was time-consuming.

Cute minigames, very chill experience!

Thanks! It might not have been very clear, but the "C1"/"C2" indicator on the upgrade screen refers to the number of points an upgrade costs. Not the greatest piece of UI I know, but hopefully that clears things up!

Thanks for your lovely comment! Stay tuned for later this week, we'll be releasing an update based on all the great feedback we've received.

Fun little 3D survival shooter! Excited to see what you work on next!

A fun wave-based survival shooter (our games have a lot in common!). I enjoyed the enemy AI, it was quite fun getting the archers to attack their own allies! I'm curious to see what you make next!

Definitely unique, its honestly a really cool idea to just experience what it might like to be a snowflake with no win or lose condition.

Nifty little exploratory platformer! Art and music were nice. The movement felt a little floaty at first but I soon got used to it. The warmth mechanic is interesting, but I feel it could have been implemented better as it usually just resulted in me waiting near a torch for a while every few seconds, which interrupts the fun movement and gameplay. Overall though, fun game!
