Sorry you ran into that issue, I'll make sure to add a check for out-of-bounds! Please try the game again at some point when you have the time!

I think we ended up making games along a similar idea! I really like the physics applied to all the objects, makes interacting with the objects a lot of fun in itself. I also like the risk-reward of the different equipment, the feathers having a cumulative chance over time to detect a fake while the Test box will get it right every time but takes forever! The scales are a neat idea too, but I had no idea what the expected value for the objects was, so I couldn't tell if there were any weight variances, please tell me if I missed something there. Overall though, I really liked it! Would love to see an update once the jam is over with more item types.
(Also, noticed a minor bug, after playing a game and going back to menu, clicking the options button won't open it. Pressing ESC does still open the menu though, so not too major!)
A pretty interesting type of game that I'm not sure I've seen before! I like the look of the coins and the way they light up on collision, it made me a little sad that the objective was to shove them out of sight. Overall good experience!
(Found a minor bug, I could see the world behind the moving clouds texture on the title screen as it would move to the right for a while before moving back to the starting position. I think this is due to me playing on a 4k monitor which you might not have accounted for! I'd be happy to send a screenshot if you think that would help).
Thank you for the feedback! This game definitely isn't for everyone, which is why I opted not to include a timer so that players wouldn't feel too pressured by quick maths. You're also totally right about the shiny thing, I'll make that clearer in the update I plan to make after the judging period is over.
It sounds like you're almost there! You do have to add up both faces (these are the Type and Alignment of the card, you can see if they are valid using the notes in the toolbar!), as well as the values of the stats and any other miscellaneous additions from the valuation guide. Before you value a card, make sure the card you are valuing is real and not fake! Use all of the notes from the toolbar to identify and appraise the cards and you'll be a top inspector in no time.

Great experience, wonderful atmosphere and innovative concept. Would love to see something like this expanded upon as the game felt quite short and too easy. The art was brilliantly suggestive and took me by surprise many times! That being said, I feel like the theme of winter was only tangentially relevant to the game, I would have liked to see it incorporated a bit more. Looking forward to seeing what your team do next!
I'm really sorry the game isn't running correctly for you, this is the first time I've heard of this particular issue after over 70 downloads... My only guess right now is that your laptop may not meet the minimum specs for the game to run correctly? I hope you can hold off on making a rating for now and give our game another try on another device when you get home!
Check out my game if you get the chance, I think our games share a fair bit of DNA, so would be great to hear your feedback!

Great little platform-shooter, really enjoyed it. I particularly liked the slow-down effect on getting shot, felt quite polished! I would have loved to see some powerups or something falling to the ground with the snow, something to spice up the gameplay a touch! That being said, cool game, looking forward to seeing your next project!
Give our game a spin if you fancy!

Really cool puzzle-platformer with a simple but sweet art style. Always love to see a palette swap mechanic (but I am biased because I've put one in my game too!) and there are some great choices here, I really liked the second one with the green and white. One of my favourites from the jam for sure.
Nifty little exploratory platformer! Art and music were nice. The movement felt a little floaty at first but I soon got used to it. The warmth mechanic is interesting, but I feel it could have been implemented better as it usually just resulted in me waiting near a torch for a while every few seconds, which interrupts the fun movement and gameplay. Overall though, fun game!
