Everything is SO cute!! The art style?? The layout?? The overall aesthetic??? Chef’s kiss! I was hooked right away. Asher is insanely adorable and such a sweetheart, I really like those type of characters. Moreover, the voice acting is amazing; it had me kicking my feet and giggling too. It really brings the characters to life! The story is super enjoyable and a refreshing change of pace for me, especially after playing a bunch of heavier games.
Also, I'm living for all the banter, flirting, and teasing between the characters — it's so fun and heart-fluttering. The brothers' dynamics are also really well done and added a lot to the experience.
Overall, it’s such a charming and delightful game. Huge kudos to the team!
This is one of the first few games I’ve played from itch.io, and it really set the standard for me. It’s a perfect blend of storytelling, horror, and grotesque elements. The animation is great, the gameplay is neat, and I absolutely loved the escape game. The storyline truly popped off! Kudos to the team!
I found this while doom scrolling for completed visual novels and I’m honestly so glad I decided to play it. The story is beautifully written—even though it deals with a sensitive topic, it’s handled with so much care and respect. It never felt inappropriate or invalidating, just really honest and real.
The characters are amazing. I’ve met someone like Aran in real life, and seeing how realistically they were written hit me hard. The emotional moments got to me, and I seriously wish there was a sequel or extra content with Aran and Caleb just being domestic and happy.
I really appreciate the clear trigger warnings too. And the music? So good. The music box scene in one of the endings nearly made me cry. The backgrounds were also super impactful too! Every time I saw Caleb’s grandparents’ house, I felt this mix of sadness and nostalgia.
Definitely checking out the dev’s other games. This one really stuck with me. Thank you for making something so special.
I absolutely love Blooming Panic! I've been trying to convince my friends to play it too. The story is amazing, and it even made me want to read the original story the MC is obsessed with. I love that the game introduces us to a variety of love interests with each having their own unique personalities. I'm especially in love with Quest and NakedToaster! Although, if we're being real, I just know that Nightowl would be the most compatible with me in real life, haha.
I couldn’t stop thinking about the game after I finished playing. The voice acting is fantastic! It had me giggling and feeling butterflies in my stomach the whole time. I’m also completely obsessed with the memes! Some scenes genuinely upset me, which made the emotional payoff in the make-up scenes feel even more rewarding.
The endgame was absolutely insane! I felt so bad trying to get the bad ending and my heart couldn’t take it. I also realized that, while I love Xyx, we’re probably the least compatible. I breezed through the other routes, but I ended up spending three hours just trying to get his good ending!
The playlist is also a gem, and the animation like the Discord shaking effect is such a clever touch. I’m seriously impressed by how immersive everything feels. I can’t even delete it, even though I usually uninstall games after I’m done playing them. That’s how much I love it!
I just finished the game and completed all the endings, and I can say that I like the plot a lot. It is still not finished, but the premise is good. I really like these types of stories where you do not know what to trust, especially in the beginning. I also like that my doubts about Mychael lessen the more I try to play around with the choices. In the end, I just want to care for him! I want him to know that he is truly lovable and that you can have a connection with someone even with your differences. I am really excited for future releases! I think I will like how it goes no matter what happens. Also, the design looks so good! The vibe is so on point, and I love the perspectives in the art. I just think it is very pretty.
