Unique concept that I like a lot! Some notes from my endeavors while playing in browser:

  • After learning I can kick enemies into the sparkling pits, I did it enough times that I forgot I can also kick props. You can pass this off as a skill issue on my part or consider reminding the player of this.
  • While exiting fullscreen and taking damage at the same time, the player turned red. This may just be a browser bug but I’m not sure.
  • Every enemy seems to share a material as they all flash upon being hit.
  • At some point after dying, the camera stopped tracking the player and instead focuses on its position in the intro

This is for sure a cool project and I hope to see more out of it in the future, best of luck to you guys if you do continue development

I like the sound effect of the gun, very satisfying.

Enemies do tend to pile up under the spawn position, and the screen shake feels a bit too much.

The visual style is very nice, I’m a big fan. Great job on this game!

Quite chaotic! I give 5 stars

This was a charming game to try out, the effect you achieved with the starry background looks awesome and the sprites look very nice as well. I’m not sure what exactly the enemies are supposed to be… but I like that about them, my imagination interprets them as inky metal birds. If I had to make any suggestions, perhaps an in-game popup to briefly explain the controls? Other than that the isometric world looks very good as well, inspires me to try making a game in that style at some point too. Nicely done!

Good concept, the art is nice too. The controls are a bit difficult for me though, since the camera pans with the cursor. Maybe adding the option to pan with A and D would make things easier? Otherwise well done.
