very cute, at first i panicked because everything goes so fast but I quickly stabilized even if I had to lose some limbs in the process ^^ made me think of the ship of theseus :P

very cute little game :) i quickly converged on a "all talk" strategy xD I wish there was a way to break or sell the mirror, but I guess denial isn't very healthy either is it

my headcannon for the berlin ending is that you're getting beat up by cops cause germany is one of the countries with the strongest repression of anti-genocide protests. this actually still makes me scared to go, but I guess it'll probably be allright if I pretend hard enough to be negationist. scary tho

Hi! First of all thanks for playing, further thanks for reporting the bug and sorry it happened to you. I see exactly what you're referring to because I've battled with it during the development process, I thought I had it under control but it is apparently not the case. The vertical scrolling is supposed to happen, I'm not sure why it doesn't. I'll enforce it with stricter conditions and setup a maximum height for the text.

Hehe thanks for playing and reading! And commenting, I was worried about audio level, not having had time to add audio settings! Finding a balance between light and serious was my main priority and concern with this, so I'm also glad you picked up on it!

really cool to see a game inspired by loop hero. special mention for the title screen, it slaps! I had a great time playing, my only complaint would be that I would have loved to control speed of time but ofc it's hard in the scope of a game jam

After introducing the bottle of rum, I misread "lives" as "livers". I do like typing games. big fan of the twitch inspired layout.

tab completion is sorely missed but you know that ^^ it's a shame you need the whole node setup, this would be perfect to play in embed. Anyway I really like this type of gameplay, feels grounded in the real!

Time is cruel in game jams. I think a lot of what you're proposing is very interesting, the combat system in particular is super innovative!

Thanks for trying it out! I definitely think of it as a slot machine too, didn't have time to come up with a satisfactory "resource balancing" mechanism a la Reigns. I like your ideas! I think the total viewer count is actually already slightly biased towards going down over time but it's extremely slow.

I think I've tried all the paths but it was still really fast so I'm probably missing something. I've noticed that it's your first game so it's also possible it's not complete yet. I'll keep an eye on the project, I'm really interested by your vision, there's not a lot of games that talk about ethics.

Really love the throwback to the history of voice synthetizing, the puzzles are well adapted for the history they convey, and it meshes well with the pixelized aesthetics. Well done!

I progressed a lot but I'm not sure I reached the end. Seeing confusion in the other comments maybe you should make a guide or a walkthrough. That being said I was really into the visual theme of this game, everything is very polished and plays great! Really impressive that it's a solo project!

that's a good question tbh, I think you'd probably have a bit more players with mini games in screenshots, but I really cherish the surprise I had so that's valuable too xD
