Is anyone planning on shifting to Devil's Acre? I know it's not ideal (It's literally a punishment loop), but I'm shifting for the story, and that means staying in Devil's Acre for a while. After it's turned into more of a peculiar safe loop, though, and not a headquarters for the Wights anymore.
I'd love to hear anyone's script ideas if they have any :]

I have this idea for a Mphfpc au.
So we all know the "normals" that were looking for Noor and went chasing after the group in TMOD. And I think in book 5 (6 maybe I forget), they were just wrote off as Wights. They did talk about an organization of normals that would hunt down peculiars in the 1800 to 1900s.
I'm also a little bit of a fan of the SCP foundation. What if those "wights" were actually part of the SCP? A (somewhat) secret society of normals capturing peculiar people and running experiments. Or trying to understand loops?
Just imagine they manage to get their hands on a hollowgast.
Just a thought I've had for a fanfic, maybe. But I don't write much, so you're welcome to take my idea if you like it :] (but you have to let me read it lol)

Your MPHFPC DR sounds really cool!! Why did you choose Miss Magpie’s loop to be a part of? Also are the friends that are with you from the books or are they from your CR/another source?
When are you first shifting there? Like are you starting at the point when you first get picked up by Miss Magpie?
I didn't exactly choose the loop. I didn't even know what a loop was till I was saved by her. But I was lucky to have been saved by her. As she was one of the last ymbrynes in America. So if not for her, I'd probably be eaten. Or best case scenario apart of an American clan/gang.
My friends are from my CR, lol. They don't know anything about shifting, though. So we're not group shifting or anything.
Probably in my bed at the house we live in. I'd already be living there for a long time, so in my late 30s or early 40s. We do end up meeting the main characters, and the end of the story remains pretty much the same. But I'm more shifting for the universe than for the plot.

I can communicate with spiders (and control them if I really try, but it's kinda a pain) and also have some spider-like abilities. Like climbing skills, venomous fangs, and black eyes that can see in the dark (though I can barely see in the light). Also, webbing comes out of my wrists like spider man, but it's kinda useless cause I don't have a web shooter. So basically, I'm the closest thing to actual spider-man.
I think any visual peculiarity is kind of hard to have (especially since my own is visual). It's harder to hide multiple eyes or horns growing from your head than telekinesis or something.
I'm 40, but I was looped at 15.
It kind of is. It definitely gets boring. I don't think I'm still 15. But I don't feel 40, either. I think I found a middle at about 25. Staying the same for 25 years definitely changes you.
It's hard to say. Millard, most likely. Though, I don't exactly meet him till book five, The Conference of The Birds. Either him or the two friends I've known since before the loop, Kade and his little sister Shay.

I read Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children when I was younger! I don’t think I read the full series and I don’t remember everything, but I remember liking it a lot. It’s really cool that you’re shifting there! I’m gonna send two sets of questions for now, these are the first ones I have

I'm not starting in either :]. There's a loop in 1986 made by an ymbryne named Miss Magpie that I'm in. In the middle-of-nowhere Idaho. In a clearing in a forest.
I was there when the loop started. So, I'm from the 1980s. Two of my friends and I were driven out of my hometown by a hollowgast, Miss Magpie found us luckily.
The first time I encountered one, yes. It's what killed my dad (although he wasn't peculiar). And almost killed me and my friends. Not being able to see it was jarring. We escaped and jumped on a bus to middle-of-nowhere Idaho. Other than that, not much. Of course, it's always a looming threat, but the loop I'm in is very well hidden.
I want to help motivate people in the new year and engage more with each other, so I’m gonna try sending more asks to people about their DRs!

How do peculiar plants come to be anyway? Say you have peculiar berries and collect their seeds.
Would those seeds also produce peculiar berries? Or since peculiarities skip a generation usually, would those seeds be normal? Idk.
I've just been wondering this for a while now cause I think the idea of having a peculiar garden would be really cool.

SCRIPT IDEAS FOR SHIFTERS!
If you're shifting to a "better cr" (just like your regular life with some adjustments). Put you into the other fandoms you shift to.
For example, if you also shift to a Harry Potter dr you could script that you're in the books in your better cr reality. If that makes sense??
