My headcanons

  1. Miss Peregrine is very afraid of Grimbears (due to what happened in LOS)
  2. Murnau was a cannibal
  3. Caul knew that Bentham's statues were humans, but he didn't mess with them because he thought they were actually stuffed dead people.
  4. Bentham's Grimbear was killed from the battle of LOS. (I had a theory that he survived and became a hollow unlike anything he's ever seen, but it's just a theory)
  5. Abe must have seen Golan thousands of times and never identified him as a wight.
  6. Emma, Millard, Fiona and Hugh must blame themselves for what happened to Charlotte.
  7. Claire is afraid of Enoch's humunculi and wants them far away from her dolls and stuffed animals.
  8. Olive sleeps on the bottom bunk bed, but instead of her mattress being on top of the bottom bunk, it is stuck under the top bunk, so that she doesn't need to be tied to her bed and can sleep more comfortably (I'll draw this later)
  9. Caul was never punished for attacking Miss P when he was a child, which is why she is so resentful and says he was too spoiled, after all he did not bear the consequences of his actions
  10. Ymbrynes feel pain when transforming into birds, all their bones change at once and their entire body is forced to shrink, probably the faster the transformation the less pain.
  11. Ymbrynes feel the peculiarities of others, they cannot identify which one it is, but they feel that a Child is peculiar. So a ymbryne identified baby Jacob's peculiarity , so the peregrine identified Abe's Peculiarity , and so the miss P always knows when Millard is present.

Rip to my strange and off-putting queen you will be missed 🙏🙏🕊️🕊️

Damn, I can't love any villain anymore because he'll end up in trouble 😭 They'll never be able to implement a villain as bizarre and scary as this one in the next season.

I wanted to know what happened to the children's pet bird, it appears in one of the photos in its cage, it was probably more than a pet, maybe it was like a carrier pigeon, It would have been cool for the kids to have a pet in the loop. I have some fun headcanons about this little bird

When I watched the film, I thought it was very convenient for the plot to have Miss Peregrine have a cage at home. My first thought was "why would a bird have a cage at home? Like, shouldn't birds hate cages? That's so claustrophobic..." Then I remembered that Miss P from the books also has a cage at home lol but in her defense, this cage is not hers.

Tutorial on how to waste potential

  • Take characters that are only mentioned in the books and make them characters in the movie.
  • Make them practically irrelevant throughout most of the film.
  • Give these characters powers that are stupidly stronger than all the other characters and that could have easily solved all the problems in the movie.
  • Only use these powers in a single situation, in a scene lasting seconds.

When I found out that the twins would become characters in the film, I was happy, thinking that they would finally be used in the story and we would learn more about them... Well, their participation seemed more like an aesthetic choice and a way to add more small children to the home... Their presence gave us very little information, we don't know their names, genders, origin... We only know their powers and that may not even be Canon. They were misused in history.

They’re all incredibly stupid

I had a hard time with miss Peregrine because she’s canonically super short but if I made her any shorter she looked ridiculous. So she’s about Enoch’s height now

I put them in (physical) age order too to spread my evil headcanons

Anonymous asked:

Do you have any head-cannons on Miss Nightjar? I find her loop to be the most interesting one

Yes, I do, my hc is about the types of peculiars that inhabit her loop, her academic backgrounds and a little about her personality.

Miss N is one of the few ymbrynes with other degrees, having degrees in pedagogy, physiotherapy and psychology, in addition to also being a nurse.

Her many academic degrees are for her to improve herself since her loop welcomes all the "difficult cases". Several ymbrynes in training do internships in her loop because she always needs a little extra help.

All the peculiars who live with her are categorized into these cases:

→Extremely traumatized and depressed children: usually children who saw massacres committed by Wights and lost their home and their peculiar friends, usually children whose peculiarities ruined their lives and caused them countless traumas.

→Children victims of exploitation, abuse and violence: self-explanatory, usually committed by normals, these children are rescued from inhumane situations.

→Children who have undergone corrective surgery: children who have been mutilated and traumatized by doctors who tried to fix the children, who tried to eliminate their peculiarities.

→ Children whose peculiarities are a curse: children with peculiarities like the little boy who had the eternal flame stone stolen, that is a curse.

→ Children whose minds have been damaged by accelerated aging: Charlotte's case, and this one is also self-explanatory.

→ Children whose peculiarities are so apparent that they cannot be seen: People like Dog Face's clan

→ Children who have been victims of soul extraction by wights: These are the most recent residents of the loop, and probably only stayed there while they recovered and then returned to their home loops.

Although I mentioned everyone as a child, there are also adults and pre-teens in the loop. Miss Nightjar's house looks like a mix of a hospital, an asylum and a daycare, but it is a happy home for the most part.

She doesn't work alone and besides the ymbrynes in training the loop has its own bonemender and some other peculiar adults who help take care of the children and the peculiars most in need.

Miss N is a tall woman, almost 40 years old, she is kind, polite, extremely patient, and a great nurse and psychologist, she runs her house with mastery and consoles the ymbrynes who have to leave peculiar children with her, she consoled miss P when he had to leave Charlotte there. Now with technology she has also become a psychologist for the ymbryne council.

I was inspired by Miss N to create my OC Dandara shoebill
