I’ve been juggling a bit too much recently, but found some time to draw for myself. Finally getting back on track. 😅
Also, in case you missed it before - I’m going to begin the Shikoku Pilgrimage in Japan next month(!?). It’s been a lifelong dream, but I’m going to be walking for over two months visiting 88 temples over 750miles. It’s kind of crazy that it’s actually happening! Doing the final prep/planning has been wild. More on that soon, though!
Two Lonely Souls
Felt like a good time to re-share this piece.
David Lynch was & will always be a HUGE inspiration to me. My personal projects, especially, are so deeply influenced by him. The way he told stories was so unlike any other creator I know - so authentic, dreamlike & metaphorical. I can only dream of affecting others the way his work has affected me. ♥
“Harry, I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange.”
I got to create this piece for #HonkaiStarRail. Robin & Sunday’s storybook imagining of Thumbelina. 🌟🌷
#HSRFairyTales
I used to draw with pencil on paper, scan & paint as my main process, but I haven’t done it in a LONG time. I wanted to try it out again with this one. 💗
Painting I made as a demo after my guest lecture at Fort Hays State University yesterday.
It was such a fun experience getting to share tips & exercises on how to build your art style. I am going to try and make a condensed video version of it when I get back home! ❤️
I read Bunny by Mona Awad while recovering from surgery & it was SO cool! I had to make a mock-cover for it. 🐰🪓
