Daredevil and Elektra by David Mack in an homage to The Kiss by Gustav Klimt (2025)
Rogue by Adam Hughes
Daredevil Annual #7 cover by Mike Mignola
Not gonna lie, I couldn’t help but feel legitimate chills the moment the previously retired Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, stepped off the plane and ruthlessly declared that he would stop at nothing to rescue his wife Vanessa from the mafia bosses who kidnapped her, even if it means rebuilding the very criminal empire that he previously abandoned at Vanessa’s behest!
Now that is a legitimately terrifying cliffhanger, one which ultimately helped redefine the Kingpin from a minor reoccuring Spider-Man villain into the larger-than-life & imposing arch nemesis of Daredevil!
From Daredevil (1964) #170 by Frank Miller & Klaus Janson.
