Photo taken one year ago. It’s hard to believe, but today we’ve been in this house for a year! Living here has been everything I thought it would be and more. I’ve loved the get-togethers: inside and poolside, the regular day to day life, and the renovation process with Micah (and help from family – thanks John!) This DIY project is something I have thought about doing for a while now and let me tell you, I’m so happy I did! It is also 100% reversible with very minimal wall damage, so it can revert straight back to its original brick at any time. I must also mention, it is not a working fireplace due to years of birds nest build up, so there is no fire risk.
