Mishu | Travel, tales & love of a Dog on Instagram: "Gastric dilatation and volvulus (GDV), or “bloat”, is a life-threatening emergency in dogs. This is a condition in which their stomach twists.
How to prevent?
1.Avoid exercise/walk/running after an hour of their eating. Or feed them an hour before of their physical activities.
2.If your dog eats too fast without chewing properly, try a slow feeder. Links of slow feeder bowls in my bio link.
3.Feed 2-3 smaller meals instead of 1 large meal. Also, for healthy body, feed your dog as per their age, gender, breed.
