The durability and quality of brick is longstanding so we knew we wanted to keep it, but it needed a major refresh! LIMEWASH enters the chat 💬 I wanted this project to look more rustic and less one solid color of paint. I also wanted it to feel warmer so I chose 3 different tones of limewash to add dimension and visual interest. I started by taping everything off so the walls and mantel would be protected. Mixed up 3 colors of limewash. A base & 2 highlighter colors I sprayed a section of the red brick with water to make it slightly wet, not saturated. I went in with the base griege tone working in

I get so many questions asking about how we did it but it’s exactly the same why we did the lighter wall in a previous reel but just using two dark colours instead. What I used.. - 4-5 inch brush - a large tray - @wickes brand paint - urban nights Matt - @wickes brand paint - midnight silk Start by ensuring the wall you are painting is flat smooth and clean with an even light colour on the wall taping and covering required places. Pour an equal amount of each paint in the tray so half is midnight and half is urban nights.
