1/4 Cup Ghee
8 - 10 Cashewnuts
1/2 Cup Rava
3 /4 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
1/4tsp Kesari Yellow Food Color
1/2tsp Cardamom Powder

Method:
1. Heat Ghee in a pan.
2. Fry Cashewnuts for a min. Remove it.
3. Add Rava & roast for 5 - 7 mins on low flame
4. Add sugar & mix.
5. Add water, color & cardamom powder.
6. Mix and cover & cook till water is absorbed.

The easiest recipe I have ever stumbled upon!
Full credits to Mrs Chithra Viswanathan, her Ask Chitvish facebook page is a valuable treasure for any cuisine connoisseurs!

Extremely simple - have made this in a smaller portion to suit my family of 4.
1/2 cup rava
1/4 cup ghee
A handful of chopped cashew
Add all of the above to a pressure cooker simultaneously, stir in low flame until the cashews turn golden brown.
Takes max 5minutes.

In the meantime, in a separate pot, boil :
1 cup sugar
1.5 cups water
A generous pinch of cardamom powder
A pinch of saffron (I've soaked them in water). You may also add kesari colour - your wish (I didn't)
Let the sugar dissolve, no need to thicken & etc.
