All Saints church dates from the 14th.century. It is situated in one of the most picturesque villages in Exmoor, 500 ft. up on the south side of the coastal hills. The surrounding countryside is outstandingly beautiful.

The church of All Saints is the parish church of the small village of Selworthy near Minehead in Somerset. The village is best known for its thatched cottages arranged around the green but the real gem of this village is the church. The church is rendered with a mixture of lime and tallow. It sits on a shelf on the side of the hill and can be seen clearly over a wide area. This picture shows the church from the south east.

Allerford is a village in the county of Somerset, England, located within Exmoor National Park, and is part of the parish of Selworthy in the district of West Somerset. It appears in Domesday Book as “Alresford – forda Ralph de Limesy Mill”. One of the village's main attractions is the much-photographed packhorse bridge. Built as a crossing over the River Aller (from which the village gets its name), it is thought to be medieval in origin.
