The correlation design was employed for the study. Through the census survey, the study recruited 120 preservice teachers. The Teacher Sense of Efficacy Scale and Student Teacher Anxiety Scale, validated through Confirmatory Factor Analysis were used to gather data on preservice teachers' teaching self-efficacy and anxiety respectively. Structural Equation Modeling through Smart-Partial Least Squares path modeling algorithm was used to analyse the data. Results showed that preservice teachers' teaching selfefficacy had a significant negative influence on their teaching anxiety. The implication is that teacher educators should focus on increasing preservice teachers' teaching self-efficacy by enhancing their mastery of content and pedagogical knowledge to meet their learning and target needs. Teacher educators can give enough opportunities to preservice teachers to practise teaching during the coursework of the teacher education programme to reduce their teaching anxiety before the start of teaching practicum. This will help to assess their true teaching performance for certification.

Also, the sensitivity of their teaching engagement efficacy to their demographic characteristics (sex, age and programmes of study) was considered. The survey design through census involved all 379 preservice teachers on various teacher education programmes in the University of Cape Coast. The study found out that preservice teachers' level of teaching behavioural, emotional and cognitive engagement efficacy was high. Comparably, their teaching behavioural engagement efficacy was the highest. Their demographic characteristics (sex, age and programmes of study) did not influence their teaching engagement efficacies. Generally, the preservice teachers were perceived to have the capability to engage their prospective students, thereby providing effective instruction. However, teacher educators should provide preservice teachers with more strategies to engage their students emotionally and cognitively to achieve very high synergistic results in their prospective students.

Multistage sampling technique was used to select 81 accounting teacher and 482 students from 60 senior high schools from the two regions. Questionnaires, observation and interview guide were used to collect data from the respondents. Twelve out of 81 teachers were purposively selected for interview and lesson observation. Descriptive statistics were used in analysing the quantitative data while the qualitative data were analysed qualitatively and presented as narrative description. The study revealed among others that while the majority of the teacher participants exhibited sound subject matter knowledge they had difficulty communicating the same to their students. The implication of the findings for pedagogical training of accounting teachers in Ghana and Sub-Saharan African countries that share similar characteristics as Ghana is provided.

In all, 400 third year business students were involved in the study. Data was collected using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The study found that business students had positive attitudes towards cooperative learning. There was no statistically significant difference between male and female business students' attitudes towards cooperative learning. Again, there was no statistically significant difference between the attitudes of Accounting major students and Management major students. Entrenchment of cooperative learning strategy into the teaching of university courses was recommended to the academic departments within the University. The use of such cooperative learning strategies should not be gender sensitive. The same strategy can be used in both accounting and management business programmes.

Examining current students' satisfaction vis-à-vis the services provided in these existing universities, therefore, becomes very important. This study examined students' perceived level of service quality and its relationship with their level of satisfaction in a public university in Ghana. A descriptive cross-sectional survey design was used. Service quality (SERVQUAL) and Students' level of satisfaction (SLS) questionnaires were used to gather relevant data on service quality and students' level of satisfaction respectively. Out of a population of 1,396 third and fourth-year education business students, 550 were randomly selected for the study. The data obtained were analysed through descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient). The study found that the students' perceived level of service quality and their level of satisfaction were moderate. The study found a significant strong positive relationship between service quality and students' satisfaction (r = 0.70, p < 0.01). It was recommended that the University should continuously improve their service delivery and that much premium should be placed on students' interest and needs.

The study, therefore, solicited feedback from students reading Business Education on the quality of services offered to them by the University. The feedback was solicited from students on their perception of service quality. Hence, their perception was used as a proxy for their feedback on service quality. The survey design was adopted with a sample of 550 Business Education students. These students were proportionately selected from two programmes (Accounting Education and Management Education). The service quality (SERVQUAL) instrument was used in gathering data and both descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (independent samples t-test) were employed in the data analysis. Generally, students provided negative feedbacks on the services offered to them by the University. Apart from the reliability component of the SERVQUAL instrument where students seem to provide positive feedback, negative feedbacks were provided for other components of service quality such as tangibility, responsiveness, empathy and assurance. A further analysis of their feedbacks, in terms of gender, indicated that both male and female students equally concur that that the services provided to them by the University are poor. The management of the University should, therefore, improve the services offered to students in the area of tangibility, responsiveness, empathy and assurance components of their service quality.

A survey design was adopted which employed stratified random sampling technique to select 96 out of 526 lecturers for the study. Data obtained were analysed using frequencies, mean, t-test, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The findings of the study indicate that lecturers' level of competence with ICT is good. However, their familiarity with the university's academic resources is poor. The level of ICT literacy among lecturers is not gender sensitive. The age of lecturers does not influence their level of literacy. It is suggested that interventions have to be planned to help improve lecturers' utilization of the university's academic resources to enhance the discharge of their duties as professional teachers.
