Hello everyone! I am opening commissions for Object Show character drawings to help raise funds for Palestinian evacuation fundraisers.

Commission details:

I will draw either your own Object Show character or a character you like from any Object Show in exchange for your donations!

For a 5€ donation, a cleaned sketch
For 10€, a cleaned sketch with flat colors (so no shading)
For 15€, an inked and rendered drawing.

How Does This Work?:

Donate the required amount to the fundraisers in the list below. You can pick one fundraiser or split your donations between multiple.
Take a screenshot of your proof of donation with the date of donation visible and send it to the e-mail address or the Discord account also found below. Take care not to reveal any personal information!
If you want your original character drawn, please provide a reference picture for said character! If they have never been drawn before, a picture of the exact real life object you want drawn and/or a basic sketch you made will suffice.

Non-commercial only (the resulting art cannot be used in a commercial project)
I may share the finished image with a watermark covering on social media, but the clean version won't be posted online.
The commission work will take at most 20 days to finish. I will keep in contact with the client with frequent updates.
For the Flat Color and Lineart + Render options, no changes will be done on the artwork after the initial sketch is approved by the client since the coloring will have started by then.
I retain the right to ask you to change your request if it doesn't fit in my ToS or otherwise is not possible for me to draw.

(Since this a donation based commission and as such is paid in advance, I will of course draw something regardless! But if the request does not align with the ToS I will kindly ask the client to think of another idea for the drawing.)

Imagine that your dreams are now worth a cup of coffee.

We asked Gazan students what their dreams are for the future and that is what they said.

Mahmoud, a survivor of the genocide, still holds onto his dreams, a has great hopes of fulfilling them, despite what he's been through.

It's astonishing, the degree of ambition that students who've lost everything carry into a clouded and uncertain future.

Students who've lost their houses, have been displaced multiple times, have lost loved ones, are struggling to even apply to college, whose daily struggles consist of finding power to study on electronic devices, on top of the endless queues for bread and water, being the sole provider their family... numerous struggles but a shared pain, and yet, they have hope for the future.

This is a generation of young students who deserve all our support and all our efforts, and whom we must never stop rallying for, sharing their pain with the world, and striving for them to reach their goals and to graduate. This is a generation that has been abandoned to death for 15 months and yet they have not abandoned their goals, and so we must not abandon them. Don't they deserve your attention?

Say you have 10 dollars and you've decided to get coffee. You might say you've lost 10 dollars, but an economist will tell you that not only have you lost those 10 dollars, but you've also lose whatever else might've been gotten with those 10 dollars had you not spent them on coffee.

Of course, this is just an example, but in economics, loss isn't just what you pay; it's also the loss of the other opportunities that could have been.

And time is the most squandered resource of them all.

Nader told me that usually he would go visit his family for Eid, but this year is different.

Nader @abdalsalam2000 is only seventeen years old, and has been working hard every day to fundraise for his family which includes his father Ahmed who has cancer and urgently needs treatment, and his one year old niece Iman. After being displaced more than nine times, they were finally able to return to their home in Northern Gaza after the ceasefire came into effect in january, only to find their childhood home and everything they had destroyed.

I’ve been helping Nader with his campaign for several months, and I want to tell you that he is a very kind, hard working young man with many dreams and things he wants to do, that the occupation has taken from him. He’s only seventeen and should be in school, but he has to spend his time trying to ask for help online instead just for the survival of his family. This is difficult work, but of course he does it because he loves his family. Him and his family deserve food, safety, and happiness. Please show him that we care about them and that we are listening and see what is happening to them

Their previous campaign was very close to reaching their goal thanks to all of Nader’s hard work reaching out to people for help and advocating for his family and spreading information about the events in Gaza as it was happening, but gofundme stopped transfers from that campaign and they had to start over.

We were hoping to enjoy some safety…
But we didn't even get to enjoy a little safety before the war, which never really ended, was renewed.

It was renewed after two months of "rest" that was nothing more than a pause in the bloodshed.
It was renewed after two months of "rest" during which the crossings were not opened and the siege continued.
It was renewed after two months of "rest" during which they took what they wanted from Gaza and then resumed the bombing and destruction.
Yesterday, they besieged more than 50,000 displaced people in the west of Rafah, abusing them and carrying out massacres.

The children who were waiting for Eid… were martyred.
The sound of bombing, displacement, and homelessness never leaves us.
