shop sample: wren baby cardigan handknit sweater
Wren by Åsa Buchta is a versatile baby cardigan that is the perfect mix of playful and practical with its colorful yarn pairing and classic crewneck style. This handknit sweater features contrasting color trims and an adorable pocket (Jill opted for 2 pockets on our sample!). Designed in vibrant Vintage Baby Handpaint for the body and solid Vintage Baby for accents, there are endless color combinations. Wren is knit from the top down with raglan shaping and the sleeves are worked in the round to the wrist after the body is complete.
Jill knit our adorable sample using the design yarns, Berroco Vintage Baby Handpaint (MC) and Vintage Baby (CC). These yarns are the same base - a DK weight, easy care blend of acrylic, wool, and nylon. We love the versatility and feel of the entire Berroco Vintage line of yarns and they are durable and and affordable for baby garments.
