Hi everyone! We have an important announcement to make regarding our network as a whole and what steps we need to take to breathe some new life into our little community.

On that note, it took a lot of thought but we admins have decided that KFN will be taking an official hiatus. This means that we will not be hosting any official events, taking on new members, making new affiliates, or reblogging your works.

Will this be forever? No. We plan on coming back as soon as we can with everything planned and organised to make your experience as members of our network the best as it can be.

How long will this hiatus be? That we cannot say for sure but we do have a general plan of what steps we need to take in order to function properly as an active network. We will begin by revamping the whole net and server, recruiting and training new staff, and more before we re-open member applications. This means it may be a while before we’re back and fully active again.

This was a very hard decision for us but we know it will be best for the network as a whole when we return. Our server will still be accessible for all current members however the majority of our channels will be locked in the meantime while we revamp them.

We will not ask anyone to wait for us. If you would prefer, you are free to leave our net and consider re-applying when we return. However, if you would like to stay (which we would much prefer!) you are more than welcome to. Those that stay will be able to keep in touch with our staff via our discord server where we will provide updates on our progress and provide a Q&A service should there be any questions or worries while our network is on hiatus.

Hello everyone, long time no see. Us admins hope you’re all doing well and writing some great fics! However, we have some bad news to announce. Due to personal life circumstances making the majority of our admins busy at the moment, we will be closing KFN indefinitely.

We did not make this decision lightly and know we promised beforehand that we would be going on hiatus to revamp the net before making an official comeback but this is no longer in the cards for us.

We want to apologise to anyone who may be disappointed by this decision and thank everyone who was a part of our net for keeping us alive. We wish everyone good luck with their writing and hope everyone has a good year ahead of them despite everything happening in the world at the moment.

We don’t think of this as a goodbye, but rather a see you around. KFN may be leaving us but many of our admins will still be floating about here on tumblr whether that be in other nets or working on our writing in our own time.

Once again, thank you all for being a part of this net and keeping KFN alive. We had fun here and we hope you did too.

Hello everyone,

We just wanted to announce that we have a new survey for you to complete. It isn’t long and will only take a few minutes of your time, so if you could be so kind as to complete it, that’d be appreciated.
It’s in regards to network events. We haven’t received much participation from you all, and we’re just wondering if you all are even interested in the events we host. If you aren’t, please let us know so we can try to figure out other ways to make this an exciting place for you.

If you aren’t following the net, have your affiliation with us posted somewhere in your blog, or have been inactive for an extensive amount of time, we will be discussing your membership status with KFN. The air is brisk, with small white flakes falling from the pearly gray sky, the wind blowing lightly against your face enough to make your cheeks red. Your beanie is tugged snugly on your head, pushing your hair down past your shoulders accompanied by your scarf. You dressed warmly in a pea coat and boots to match, your jeans fitting you perfectly, and your college sweater still able to fit you after all these years. You are headed to lunch, opting to eat at a local Korean restaurant right across the street from your job. The place is small, but fortunately, there is a booth for you to sit in, a waiter already waiting for you to take your order when you walk in. You order yukgaejang to warm up your body from the cold air outside. The restaurant is decorated with Christmas things, and usually, it brings you cheer, but today it just makes you sad.

Waking up that morning, Kunhang reached for his phone blindly; his hand searching across his nightstand while he yawned the sleep away. Finding his phone and unlocking it, he scrolled through his social media, a giddy grin on his face as he looked through y/n’s feed. Their relationship had been going on for just over a month and Kunhang was itching to hear their voice.

“Morning voice wouldn’t be too much, right?” Muttering to himself as he sat up and ran a hand through his dishevelled hair, the rapper chuckled to himself as he imagined y/n’s reaction on the other side of the screen. Hitting record, he sent his voice note, giggles lacing the end of the note (read: morning baby~~ did you sleep alright?). Butterflies and excitement filling his chest seconds later, Kunhang threw his phone on the bed as he went to the bathroom to freshen up, a stupid grin on his face the entire time – which had earned him a knowing smirk from his roommate. His roommate being the ever-so-annoying Liu Yangyang.

By his phone the instant his notifications went off, Kunhang bit back giggles as he read their reply, a voice note reply underneath.
