My illustration for the first charity artbook curated by Reverie Studio: "FolkFools" Folk Fools was a collective art book born to raise funds to protect the endangered Sea Turtles of Lampedusa. All the artists have chosen their subjects in the popular folklore. I've chose the legend of Atalanta in her young age :3

Atalanta was born to Iasus and Clymene, a Titan goddess of fame and renown. However, she didn't get to enjoy that renown.

Disappointed in not getting a son, Iasus decided to abandon Atalanta in the mountains.

That was a blessing in disguise, as Atalanta was found by Artemis, who taught her to become a powerful huntress.

Description This one is for the story of Atalanta: Well, the first of them. It's a little confusing, but, esentially she shooted an arrow and killed a boar. And then there was chaos, confusion and a lot of people was killed. Well, you know how greek mythology goes. This illustration is one of the little ones. The big ones are watercolor, the little ones are pencil on colored paper with gouache higlights and digital color. It sounds more complicated than it is.
