The task: To create an AVID Advertisement. The students had to use a logo, a 7 bit phrase/motto, color, talking points and present it to the class. One group had a "celebrity" spokesperson show up and do a little song and dance.... "and a 4 year degree".

This is a great research project for leadership, AVID, or gifted students and is based on Kouzes and Posner's 5 Principles of Leadership. It is geared towards middle or high school students. The Google slides are completely editable so you can add, delete, or edit any slides. The project guides students to research a famous leader and compare them to a person "in real life" who also demonstrates similar leadership qualities. They create questions and interview their "in real life" person.

30 seconds student presenter – tutorials

In second grade, we must teach noun, verb, adjective, and adverb in my county. So, we have anchor charts for each. Here are mine from my anchor chart journal. :) I also photographed my anchor charts and made 4 x 6 copies for those little photo albums.
