Bookworm Birthday by Shirleysgirl - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Followed sketch for inspiration. Took a pre-printed DP and tore down the middle. Sponged Distress Oxide Vintage Photo on torn edge and around the outside. Adhered to Kraft card base. Stamped and colored image with Copics and fussy cut. Popped up with foam tape. Stamped and sponged sentiment and also popped up with foam. Added enamel dots in similar colors as the book image. Will give this to my niece who loves to read.

I came across this link on Pinterest and wanted to do something similar with all of Gabby's second birthday cards. Instead of having a pile of loose greeting cards, I was able to bind a neat notebook that's also easy to store. DIY - Birthday Book- Gift/Craft Project

I had made one of these "Birthday Books" as a gift for an old friend and posted a photo in a craft fair group I am in and had an overwhelming response from members wanting a tutorial...so here we go.... I forgot to mention also that this book and 12 cards with envelopes fit inside our Paper Pumpkin boxes nicely.
