CARD: Cool Painted Season Double Pleat Fold Card SAB Stamp Set - Stampin' Up! Demonstrator: Tami White | Stamping, Crafting, & Card-Making

CARD This card beauty features a super cool fold technique known as the Double Curtain Fold, or Double Pleat Fold. This card was designed by Julie DeGuia and she shares directions (and a diagram) for it below. I did a video a few years ago showing the single Curtain Fold that I've included as well. This card features flowers images and DSP from the Painted Seasons Bundle that is available free during Saleabration (ends Mach 31). It used Healing Hugs for the "Get Well Soon" words.

Today's tutorial is more of a decorative element than a true card fold technique. It involves concertina folding a piece of double-sided paper to form a pretty decoration that brings to mind pleated curtains. 1. Start with a strip of double-sided patterned paper measuring 21/2" x 103/4". Measure 3/4" from the bottom, right hand edge and mark with a pencil.
