It’s fine to mix wood if you follow the golden rules 🤓 Mix the same colours/tones Browns with other browns ✅ Greys with other greys ✅ Warm orangey tones with other warm orangey tones ✅ ❌ Avoid mixing different tones together like placing a warm oak dining table on top of a cool grey wooden floor. 🤓 Mix light and dark together to create contrast. Mix dark browns with mid browns and pale browns. ✅ Mix light oaks with darker oaks ✅ ❌ Avoid mixing lots of samey browns or samey greys together as the lack of contrast can leave the room feels a bit flat.
