Oreo packaging design

Since I was posting all of my vintage Oreo packages, I thought I'd post a few contemporary examples I've saved this year. This is for a white fudge covered example. I thought the coating would be too much, but these were surprisingly well balanced, and quite good.

A school project. Package design based on an already existing product. I tried to think of a product that I thought could be repackaged in a better way and came up with this for Oreo cookies.

Krunch is a cookie brand created as a competitor to Oreo and a solution to current cookie packaging. Through my research, I found that most people surveyed disliked Oreo's current seal method. Krunch incorporates a different type of closure that is airtight, easy to use, and durable. With a clear opening indicator at the front, this packaging incorporates an angled bottom allowing for the cookies inside to easily slide out.

I picked these up for my girlfriend, who really enjoys them. I still prefer my Oreos non-minty.

Starting August 13, which is International Left Handers Day, you can get a limited edition box of Oreo cookies designed for lefties. The packaging has a flap on the right side of the pack, rather than the left one, making it easier for southpaws to open.

—a 3-pack of red OREO cookies that dawned the Supreme logo on one side of the cookie. These went for $3 each but sold out in seconds, so we resorted to eBay because we had to have them. Don’t believe the hype however, these are just red Oreos (as expected). We collect the packaging so it was still worth it for us.

My goal for this project was to re-create Oreo Packaging in a more kid-friendly way. The fun character on the front combined with the combination of the two flavors is sure to catch a child's attention
