I can use beach sand in 2 ways. 1 - create the mould entirely from sand (using approximately 1cup) 2 - sprinkle some sand in a mould made from delft clay (using approximately 1 teaspoon). This is such a unique way to add meaning to a piece and each piece has its own unique texture.
