Gingham is one of the most familiar patterns of the ages, but did you ever really study how it's constructed? A dark square, a light square, and two diagonally-printed mid-range squares. The greens in this quilt are soothing, and the reverse is a quilt all on its own with a center panel of green growing things bordered in a white-on-white fabric. It is quilted overall with a gorgeous leaf pattern.

This quilt is a variation of the popular Irish chain quilt. I made it in blue and white for a seaside feel, and named it after a seaside place I love to visit. Easy to sew, this is a quick quilt to make and looks effective with its simple graphic style…..both vintage and modern. Size: 48 ½ in x 36 ½ in (123.19 x 92.71cm) approx.

Modern patchwork quilt, for baby or toddler. Nursery decor, photo prop, tummy time, gift, ready to ship. Approximately 44" X 44" Machine wash and dry on delicate. Cold water, no heat dry or air dry. Mild detergent. The quilt will soften and crinkle after first wash. There will be some shrinkage.
